This is unfortunate since I genuinely do enjoy the food here and often crave it. Specifically the grilled chicken sandwich. Overall the food here is great as well as the service. “As charming as the bakery is, it pales in comparison to Miss Eleanor, the owner. Over the past several years I developed a sensitivity to wheat, so I wanted a gluten-free snack. She had a wide selection of sweets (cupcakes, cookies, brownies) but I saw the picture of biscuits and quickly decided to enjoy them with my coffee.

I took Ms Eleanor up on her offer to warm them up and chatted while waiting for my order to be complete. We had a lovely conversation about so many things - food, travel, career changes.

The biscuits were delicious and very reasonably priced so I’ll have to make my way back soon.

“Wow…..just Wow! Lyndhurst Pastry Shop went above and beyond. We live in Georgia and my granddaughter marched in the Veterans Day Parade yesterday in NYC. And today is her birthday. I called 6 places before I spoke to Matt who said they would take my order. My order was for a full sheet cake with a mellophone on top and it was to be DELIVERED at 7:30 AM this morning at the band’s hotel. I also shipped the plates, napkins, forks, cake knife/server, candles, and lighter stick to the bakery for them to take along with the cake. It was PERFECT!!! The kids loved the cake for breakfast. For the toppers of the cupcakes I thought she would just do an icing decoration, but she added sugar cookies and they came out so cute and complimented our theme perfectly! Thank you again!“
