“I always order the taquiza and it always arrives well prepared as it should be, but today on January 5, 2025, I don't know what happened to them that they didn't serve the tacos as they always know how to do. I'm just going to let the photos speak for themselves and give you some advice... "DON'T HURT YOURSELVES" I ordered 30 tacos and it wasn't meant to be delivered to me like that. I order from you every weekend, and you shouldn't do something like that again, otherwise you want to lose a regular customer. I hope you don't do it again. Thank you for your attention.

The food was excellent, the location is great with plenty of parking, and the flavors were outstanding. This is definitely a spot everyone should visit whenever they’re in the area.“

“Our children mentioned many times Los Tacos No. 1 has the best tacos in NYC. Son and daughter in-law visited so ran over and grabbed Steak, chicken and pork tacos with the works. They were as good as advertised. The place was busy but the line moved fast. Staff was efficient and courteous. Definitely will return for more!!“

“Just stopped into Taqueria El Buchon for a take out order for the first time. We were greeted by Ray who was very friendly and happy to talk with us while our order was being prepared. You can see a lot of love and care goes into this business. My wife and I ordered 6 different tacos and I'm happy to say they were all excellent! The carne asada was my favorite and she loved the birria. We will definitely be back soon to try more items. Easily some of the best tacos I've had anywhere in NYC.“

“My husband and I first heard about this place from King Schratz and I’m so glad we did!

Yes, like others have mentioned, it is a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it. The food is consistently delicious and you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My husband loves their tacos and burrito, and I’m a big fan of their elotes, tacos and taco bowls. Even my 79-year-old mother, who normally isn’t a fan of Mexican food, loves theirs. That alone says a lot!

Their tres leches is also incredible. I’ve sampled a lot of tres leches cakes in my life and theirs easily jumped to the top of my list.

Beyond the food, the customer service is just as impressive. Two of the owners, Jay and Kike, are always so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They even offer delivery, and their driver, Juan, is just as awesome! In this day and age, it’s rare to find a Mexican spot that’s both authentic and Latino-owned... and Just Tacos is exactly that. We’re more than happy to keep supporting them!“

“I’ve been coming to this small business for about 3/4 years now and although it’s just a taco truck I know enough that all I have to do is pick up my order and eat it at my house or enjoy it with my partner at the nearby park. I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“

“Delicious, but pricey. Small little shop with minimal indoor and outdoor seating, but I got my tacos to go. The al pastor is delicious, but the meat was just a little tough in my opinion. But they tasted divine! That said, the shrimp tacos are my favorite here. It's hard to pick what to get, but everything tastes good and fresh and flavorful. Friendly but efficient staff. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is the price per taco, but in this part of the city, that's hard to avoid.“
