“My husband and I dined here for a day-after Valentine's celebration. Our 7:00 reservation allowed us to be seated right away. The playlist was stellar. It was all the music I grew up listening to as a kid, and it made me feel at home. McKenzie was our server and she was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive. The menu has so many great choices, but the specials shouldn't be slept on either! Here's what we had: Appetizers: -Brussels sprouts salad with sliced apple, marinated feta, roasted squash, candied pecans, quinoa and tossed in a vinaigrette - Kabocha squash ravioli in a braised beef and peanut ragu, crispy eggplant and a peanut-green bean crumble. Entrées: -Flat iron steak in a mustard-sherry au poive sauce, carmelized onions, and potato churritos -Fresh cavatelli in an escargot sauce, shelled escargot, topped with a parsley butter crumb - Side of sautéed wild mushrooms with sage and citrus Dessert: -Orange and cardamom olive oil cake, assorted coffee and tea. The food was stunning. Every bite was a hit and truly made with love. Such thoughtful flavor combinations and interesting applications, all the while cooked perfectly. We had the opportunity to speak with Beverly, and we learned so much about her passions for the industry and the pride she has for the products she creates. “I ordered their mozzarella pesto sandwhich and a green tea lemonade via DoorDash because the free lunch where I work never has vegeterian options. My lunch was delicious! I dragged my co-worker , who doesn't usually eat the type of food they serve, a day after ordering online and she loved it. I ended up ordering their Mediterranean bowl with chipotle dressing, instead of Greek yogurt, and added tofu. It was so rich with flavor. It's rare that I find a great restaurant with such rich and flavorful vegeterian options.

“I’ve been looking for a Neapolitan pizza place for a bit and I just happened to see one in my own neighborhood! The pizza was incredible. The dough was perfect and the toppings complemented eachother really well. Staff was so warm and welcoming. It’s a cute little spot and feels cozy and comfortable inside. Will be coming back! Also always a bonus when the staff is respectful of my service dog!“

“This place is right next to the Hamptonn Inn in Elizabeth which is pretty convenient. It wasn't super busy and they sit you down quickly with some good drinks. Our server seemed newer at her job, or perhaps not very good but the food was pretty tasty we had no complaints. \n\nIt's not fine dining but unless you want to eat at the food court at Jersey Mills or IHOP, this was the best option we found.“

“Eating my veggies has NEVER tasted so freaking good!

There I was, minding my own business, and the smells that came from their kitchen was AMAZING. So I wandered in, ordered the cucumber water, the spicy fried cauliflower and a spicy shrimp wrap.

The wrap was a AWESOME, but the fried Cauli was out of this freaking world! It had enough heat to make it interesting and a tangy blend of sweet, savory.

This is gonna be a HUGE problem, cause I'm not from this area and I don't know that I'll be able to NOT have this in my life.

We were greeted with a big smile by Demi and she took great care of us. We had the large Meze appetizer and the small Mixed Grill and it was perfect. We had plenty to take home for Super Bowl snacks. We had a nice chat with Demi and she gave us a complimentary dessert of their homemade ice cream. The flavors were baklava and walnut. They were delicious. I highly recommend eating there. So far I've been sampling the sandwiches my favorites are the pork cutlet and the amazing turkey meatball park with vodka sauce ( delicious!!). I just had the Italian and it was perfect! “We enjoyed a gorgeous dinner at La Rocca Osteria, on the corner of Midland Avenue and Portland Place (a block south-east of Valley Road and a block north-east of Bloomfield Avenue), this week. The food was brilliant - fresh, flavorful and great portion sizes. I was thrilled with my choices of the buratta salad, crabmeat-stuffed lobster tail with mashed potatoes and a chocolate mousse cake. My fella demolished the mussels and clams in a white wine and garlic sauce, lasagne (he thought it was so delicious that he even bought a second portion to give to his dad) and cheesecake. I almost wish I’d taken photographs, but I was more interested in the experience than documenting it. The service was fantastic as well - friendly, calm, organized and reliable. Parking nearby wasn’t difficult either. It’s the second time we’ve eaten there; the first was on our first date. It was just as lovely then too.“
