“Shake Shack is one of the best fast food chain restaurants there is. From the excelllent options, Smokehouse burger is a favorite, along with chicken bites. My husband had a birthday last month, and he missed the free shake promo. Theresa, the manager, was very accommodating and presented John with a ‘free shake’. That was stellar! It’s a great shake!“

Kfried chicken sandwich is just ok wouldnt recommend it, the kshack bbq burger is much better the crispy onions and sauce are good. They have 2 types of ketchup: regular and jalapenos. The small fry is very filling for me. I was debating between a regular and small and decided with the small.

Next time I want to try the milkshakes as everyone who ordered there got one and it looked delicious.“

The wings had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, the brisket was super juicy, and the sides were perfectly done. I ordered takeout and, even after an 8-minute drive home, everything was still piping hot. I’ll definitely be back and hope they don’t change a thing.“

“1st time ordering from here. We tried the Cobb Salad to go. Owner ran out of Blue Cheese but asked if we wanted an alternate cheese. Was still delicious! Very fresh and tasty! Portion size was good. Owner was also very friendly. Even though Keansburg is desolate due to the season, this restaurant is still open and it's worth the trip to either eat in or order out from here. I recommend giving them a try if you haven't already.“

The young lady who took my order explained the brand and the food to me and offered suggestions; she didn’t ridicule me for not knowing what I wanted. I got the original burger combo figuring it would be good since that’s what they started with, and it did not disappoint. The sauce for the fries was free and tasted great! I will definitely be back! Food… tomato sauce is top shelf… but if you are featuring your sauce and you fill a dish surrounding 2 small pieces of eggplant( which was cooked perfectly BTW) you need to provide some BREAD for dipping… not everyone likes garlic bread ( at $10) avoid the “ wood fired” artichokes… they are “ canned” and nothing special at $14! The Short rib plate with butternut squash is amazing… a little on the sweet side… but something special for sure.
The Meatballs…. Ypu can make better at home small orbs of deep fried beef… very little flavor very crunchy…. Not a good choice!!! Food is a mixed bag… some good… some not so good… we will return for the cocktails…. Wine? No way!!! Meatballs??? Eat a tennis ball!! Artichokes??? Make them yourself at home! Music is WAY too loud…. Pretty pricey tab for 7’out of 10 food. Pizza was made with top shelf ingredients but bottom crust was “ flubbery” needed a few minutes in a hot pan. This place is among the best choices for cocktails in Sayreville… but needs work to be worth multiple“

The shop owner and worker were both accommodating to all of my questions even though we walked in close to closing time. Definitely coming back next time we’re in town!“

“We had a nice time celebrating my son's surprise 21st birthday at Grillestone. Jose and staff were all very nice and easy to work with and they even helped pull off the surprise. Since it was a 21st Birthday, I wanted to keep it casual and wanted food that my son enjoys when hanhing out. Jose was accommodating and I ordered all different appetizers as the meal. We had plenty of food and it came out all night long as discussed just needed a little bread in between (lol) and we even had leftovers to take home as well. We had a variety of pizza, fried calamari, avacado toast, wings, mac & cheese, nachos, sliders & fries, quesadilla & Ceasar Salad, Great staff, food, drinks all night long. The only thing missing was the band/ DJ but the weather didn't cooperate that night. Thanks again and we look forward in coming back!!!“
