“Collard greens that would make my granny proud, if she could try them, mac-n-cheese with the perfect amount of cheese (had a nice little pull to it) candied yams, and bbq chicken! Love the sauce. It has its own unique flavor. This was my first time trying Addy’s so I had to try at least three sides and none of them disappointed. I’m actually well pleased with my food and can finally say I’ve found a place nearby that caters to both my bbq and soul food cravings. THIS is good food cooked with lots of love and attention. The quality and portion sizes make it worth every penny. I must say, I really appreciated the collard greens. They were chopped well and I can tell they were thoroughly cleaned. These things matter.

Also, the establishment was very clean! I will be back.

“Came with friends to Portside to surprise my friend, Michael Cappetto, who was performing that night. Was never here before but I have to say the food was awesome, as was the entertainment! Michael is an amazing singer / guitarist and I highly suggest going to Portside to see him and have some fantastic food!“

“This is by far my favorite burger place. Everything always tastes fresh and the quality is always good. You can tell they actually care about the food. Their milkshakes are so good too. My favorites are the Dubai Chocolate, S’mores, Cherry Blossom when they had it, and Cookies & Cream. Their crinkle-cut fries are really good too. I always end up coming back.“

“Excellent food. Service has gone downhill. The last 6 times we went, we were never acknowledged upon arrival, took forever to get service and they were not busy at all. The bartenders are not as good as when they first opened. We don’t go in as often now.“

“We went for half apps on a Wednesday night and the vibes felt like a Saturday. Nisa was our server and was so sweet and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and did so promptly. “Great burgers at a great price. Make sure you always look for the burger of the month. It always rotate monthly. Once you order, they bring the food to your table and clean up after you leave. They have 2 types of ketchup: regular and jalapenos. The small fry is very filling for me. I was debating between a regular and small and decided with the small.

Next time I want to try the milkshakes as everyone who ordered there got one and it looked delicious.“

We had 60 people at our senior gathering here in Brick, New Jersey, and the compliments kept coming all day—especially about the corned beef, cabbage and the soda bread. Everything was absolutely perfect, and we had more than enough food for all our guests. We truly appreciate your attention to detail and for checking in with us. It meant a lot. We spend quite a bit of time in Staten Island visiting our grandchildren, and you came highly recommended to us—but I can honestly say this was the best recommendation we’ve ever received. “First time getting a famous NJ/NY bagel and it didn’t disappoint. My friends and I were blown away by the freshness and thiccness of every bagel. The shop owner and worker were both accommodating to all of my questions even though we walked in close to closing time. Definitely coming back next time we’re in town!“

“My family loves the food here, and the service is great. However, the restaurant is dirty. The walls near the booths are visibly filthy (brown and sticky) and the trash cans are crawling with ants. I hope better cleaning procedures are put in place because I would love for this place to be successful.“

“We had a nice time celebrating my son's surprise 21st birthday at Grillestone. Jose and staff were all very nice and easy to work with and they even helped pull off the surprise. Since it was a 21st Birthday, I wanted to keep it casual and wanted food that my son enjoys when hanhing out. Jose was accommodating and I ordered all different appetizers as the meal. We had plenty of food and it came out all night long as discussed just needed a little bread in between (lol) and we even had leftovers to take home as well. We had a variety of pizza, fried calamari, avacado toast, wings, mac & cheese, nachos, sliders & fries, quesadilla & Ceasar Salad, Great staff, food, drinks all night long. The only thing missing was the band/ DJ but the weather didn't cooperate that night. Thanks again and we look forward in coming back!!!“
