In general I don't care for sushi, but the teriyaki was great and I would definitely get that again. Even though I liked it that much I'll need to try some of the other dishes on the menu first to know if it deserves a higher rating. Other than that it's a clean place with a friendly staff, not too loud and plenty of seating space and parking.“

“The mango special roll with shrimp tempura was a little slimy because mango was very ripe and cut into small slices which were falling off the roll. It was ok not great. I did not care at all for the consistency of the chicken in the noodles dish. I ate around the meat and just ate the noodles.“

The decor is really nice, the restaurant clean and the people working there are even nicer and very helpful. I ordered the seafood hibachi entree. The very first think I noticed was how friendly and inviting the staff is, they make you feel welcome the second that you step into their establishment. Seeing the chefs put the dishes together was a nice experience as well. A bit slow with the order but most likely its because the place was full. Would recommend 18 pieces sashimi, salmon tartar and tako su. Over all a great place to stop by if you want fresh sushi and want to bring in your liquor.“

“Came here with my family after watching a movie, and we were very pleased with the experience. The miso soup was honestly some of the best I’ve had. It wasn’t overly salty like at many other sushi places, where the saltiness can drown out the other flavors.

Everything tasted fresh, and the rolls were especially good. They weren’t overloaded with rice and were packed with plenty of filling. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and left very satisfied.“

“We dine at Kobe every week! They have the best sushi and hibachi around. Our favorite waitress is Lena who is always so attentive and greets us with a smile. “One of our favorite Japanese restaurants. It is a small place in a shopping center with some seating (we have never had a problem getting seated and definitely plenty of folks who do pickup).

We usually get a mix of the vegetarian sushi options, different appetizers, and I always get their fried rice...it is my favorite. Our picker eater daughter is always excited to go here. The staff are always very friendly and the food comes out pretty quickly. Definitely recommend if you are in the area and want something quick and tasty.“

“Quality sushi spot with excellent specials rolls

We ordered takeout several times and also dined in at Yosuki Sushi in 2025. It's a typical small Japanese restaurant like the ones you often find on shopping plazas. It has a pretty, minimalistic decor, and a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Takeout orders were always ready exactly on time. Dine-in service was ok, though it could be more attentive.

The regular sushi rolls are very fresh, flavorful, with little rice, and taste great.
The special rolls are the real highlight - they are delicious. Our favorites were Tuna Lover Roll, Summer Roll, Twin Tower Roll, Fantastic Roll, and Holiday Roll, though all others we tried were also very good.
The teriyaki Chicken was juicy and flavorful, my daughter loved it and finished the entire plate.
Appetizers we tried
Pork Gyoza - excellent
Pork Shumai - unremarkable
Beef Negimaki - excellent! Warm, juicy, with tender, not chewy beef
Tuna Tartare - a bit disappointing. It was essentially large tuna chunks on a bed of avocado with a thin layer of sauce spread on the plate. Tuna Tartare should be more than just tuna cubes. Make the cuts finer, mix in some dressing, lime juice, sesame seeds, cucumber, etc. to make it a distinct and balanced dish.
For dessert, the Tempura Ice Cream and Green Tea Mochi were fine, nothing special. The tempura could be crunchier.

Overall, Yosuki Sushi is a solid neighborhood Japanese place with fresh sushi and excellent special rolls. We’ll definitely return, and we can easily recommend it for sushi staples.“

First restaurant I thought of recently when in dire need of a comforting and safe meal that was both familiar and yet exciting at the same time. If I was to embody Remy the Rat from Disney Pixar’s ‘Ratatouille’, this would be my ‘Gusteau’s’. My culinary sanctuary. For many, asian cuisine is seen as a last minute idea and has been portrayed in media as the ‘take-out go to’ which often flattens and stereotypes the flavors and experiences associated with the cuisine. To me, this restaurant is more than a last minute decision. It feels like a homemade meal just for you, dine-in or takeout.“

“In town for an event, 8 of us went out for dinner. Everything was so delicious, the 3 of us still in town the next day went back the next night for round two.I personally enjoyed the Red Curry Chicken and Beef Pad Thai. Especially of note is their General Tso's Chicken which was ordered both nights, as it is mostly chicken, not cheap breading like a lot of other places. The Shrimp Shumi were also reordered on day two. The prices were completely reasonable as well. I would 100% return to this restaurant for round three.

Parking: Parking was easy as not a lot of people were there when we were, however I could see it getting crowded when busy.
