“I’ve lived in the area for quite some time lived in West End when I first moved here after college, and man has it changed (still live right down the way between west end and pier village)! I thought west end lost its “cute/cool” factor-fun restaurants and bars/lounges and cute stores. Welles yesterday showed me it’s still there and I’ve been missing out on some amazing food!!
This place is fantastic. The service is warm and welcoming. The store has a fun, authentic feel-perfect for family. Solid outdoor eating. (Order at counter though still). Prices are fantastic—and then the food! I went with steak quesadilla. Was starving couldn’t think and went for it. The menu is extensive and has your typical favorites. I got this to go and walked back to my condo. When I opened it up, I was just beyond impressed. It smelled amazing and looked even better and tasted phenomenal. This is definitely on my regular list. I will be using this a lot. Definitely DoorDash it when I’m being lazy or just walking down to get a good walk and come back with Amazing authentic Mexican food. “Authentic Mexican food. I had the chili Relleno which was delicious. The chilequiles verde con carne were a very light green that I have never seen before but they were not lacking in flavor....they were pretty good. The tamales were a bit dry however. Last time we had tacos al pastor which were delicious. The owners are very nice and friendly. A nice find. They only have 4 tables inside. They do mostly takeout...but both times we ate in and noticed alot of repeat customers and the owners greeting them. Nice customer interaction. I will go back and continue to try new things!“

“I’m one to always order a standard burrito when trying a New Mexican restaurant. To compare equally across the locations I’m visited in NJ I feel it’s important.Hands down the seasoning on the steak immediately brought me back home. Simple yet so perfect. I prefer a burrito without all the fluff. Meat beans cheese (&rice unless rice comes as a side) price point is awesome and the portion was huge for me. Fresh fried corn tortilla chips and individually portioned house salsas made me feel at ease opposed to sharing bottles or stations with other patrons. Quaint location with tradicional and festive decor. As a Latina who has lived in over 15different states I can absolutely say that this restaurant will be one of my top contenders here in Monmouth County. Looking forward to my next meal. Thanks“

“Never disappoints. Although a small restaurant the food always on point and the service warming. Engaging staff, checks on customers and friendly. Food takes a bit to come out but they tell you that in the beginning. Not a problem because when it comes out, it's so good.“

“Ate at the boardwalk location during Sea Hear Now Festival. Did a pork and a beef taco with some of their cucumber salad. SO good. Tacos were a nice size and the different toppings that came in them were nicely portioned. Staff were friendly and made the recommendation of what to order. Will return.“

“My wife and I hired them to do a food truck for after our wedding reception. 15/10 decision. The tacos were incredible esp the General Tso chicken and the bang shrimp tacos. Plus the leftovers that weren't served at the reception hall made great afterparty food. If you like tacos and want to give your late night party crowd a treat after a fun night, highly recommend Tacoholics!“

Asked Grace at the register questions and she replied with detailed description, was very helpful and friendly. They also provide a punch card for the visits for a reward and offer Monmouth University students a discount. Good cuisine and amazing customer service. “Always fresh always tasty, everything I’ve ever gotten from them is a 10/10. The quality is always great but the quantity is hit or miss especially with the nachos. Maybe it depends on who’s making them that day. Sometimes its a nice big portion fills the container and sometimes it’s just like they threw some chips in the box slapped on a couple topping and you get half of a container while someone with the same has a full box. 5/10 for that. Prices are reasonable.“

“My only issue was the ordering. First, when I sign into the app it keeps on sending me a link to click to get back into the app, which is annoying. Second, I clicked through online based on a coupon and started ordering, but when I signed in the promo disappeared and I had to keep logging out and in to get it. The app needs to be improved.“

“We stopped in here for lunch & the entire family loved their meals. We had a nice time here, the place is clean, staff is speedy & professional. We were able to park on the side. Their us outdoor & indoor seating. The food looked presentable and it all tasted fresh. Will definitely be returning here when we’re back in this area.

Kid-friendliness: One of my kids only eats tenders & fries wherever we go. My husband and I were craving tacos from here as highly recommended. Glad we were able to accommodate our child in a taco establishment.“
