“Just got back from a business trip in Europe, which explains why I haven’t been to Bubakoos. Honestly, I was missing it more than I’d care to admit… So, when I finally swung by again, I was kinda hyped only to get hit with a letdown. The first visit was meh, and the next couple times? Still not it. The staff looked like they were still figuring out which end of the burrito is up. But then, today—boom. I walk in and there’s Jeffrey, holding it down behind the counter like some sort of burrito wizard. Seriously, shoutout to this guy. My bowl? Absolute fire. Fresh as hell and you could just tell someone actually cared making it. That’s what I expect from Bubakoos, you know? All the pieces, base, meat, toppings, just on point. Plus, the dude’s quick, nails it every time, super chill, and actually acts like he wants you there. I really hope I see more of Jeffrey (or at least someone who gets it like he does) because that’s the kind of vibe that keeps me coming back.

Especially Brooks, who went above & beyond helping us try decide what to order. I'm not kidding when I say everything looked so good. He kindly gave different suggestions. He took time to explain different options, what they were and how they were made. Any questions or requests we had were met with nothing but kind responses. Will definitely be back!“

Nice ambiance with high ceilings and lights. Very rustic and casual. The hot sauce is really hot so be careful. Should have gone with mild or medium. Mind you i do like hot sauce so when i say hot is hot its really is.. But the sauce had a kick to it.

“The Livingston CARS restaurant was small, but it was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and chatted with us a little bit before we left. We ordered take-out, and everything was well-packaged and clearly labeled so it was easy to sort out the items for our family members. The food was delicious and filling. “This was the best blizzard I've ever had. All other dairy queens I've been to have made me either wrong blizzards or liquidy blizzards and God forbid they ever flip it as the dairy queen motto says. They brought us the blizzards, flipped it in front of us and they were better tasting than any blizzards I've ever had. The food was fantastic, better than any fast food place I've ever been to. “I place a pick up order and it says it’ll be ready at 8:30. I show up around 8:30 and tell the person in front that I have a pick up order. She just points to the screen and tells me to order. I tell her I had one for pickup and she shakes her head no and tells me to show her. I show her the confirmation on my phone, and she looks confused and goes to the back. She comes back and tells me to wait about 10 minutes. I already paid so I just decide to wait. It definitely took more than 10 minutes and I was just frustrated because how do you not know there’s a pick up order? It wasn’t even busy so I was just confused. I like to give her the benefit of the doubt cuz she probably honestly didn’t see it. It was just kinda inconvenient. The food was actually really good. I’m not too mad about it, just something to point out about my experience.“

“Our first time going to the Totowa location (met up with friends for lunch). Staff was very friendly and helpful - we decided to eat outside and they brought the food to us quickly. We had the tacos, regular bowl with carnitas and fajita bowl with steak and pina-mango drink. Food was very tasty and freshly made. Will come back to try El Pastor. “Great smash burger. Slight crisp on the outside like a smash burger should but flavorful and moist inside. Their sauce reminded me of Colombian salsa rosada. Yum. Schwarma was delicious. “This place has been around for decades, and their fried chicken is by far the best I’ve had throughout Passaic county. It has a nice spice to it that separates it from others. Their beef patties are also delicious… and you cannot forget to order a burger!

The only concern is the location. They’re located in a dangerous part of Paterson; fortunately, nothing has happened whenever I visited, but always be on alert.“
