“I don't understand why it's so difficult to find decent Chinese and PanAsian food around here. First thing you need to know is that Asian Bistro has closed. Thank god! Even though I never ate there after it was Eastern Empire the conditions there were always in my head. Eastern Empire was gross, dirty and just really bad food. When I found out that Asian Bistro had closed and moved in to Ahi Sushi I was willing to give it a try. Ahi was decent, not the greatest. But decent. The place was pretty nicely decorated and seem pretty clean (in stark contrast to the rundown looking strip mall with a hazardous parking lot). My favorites were the hand rolled sushi rolls. Really good! Guess this a good choice when you need your pan Asian flavor fix“

“This is one of the best Indian Restaurants in Monmouth County. From the moment you walk in to the moment you pay for the bill, the staff here take such amazing care of you as if you are one of their own. The food is also of such impeccable quality-the staff here really put the time, effort, and care to go above and beyond with preparing their dishes. “I got a vegan ice cream cake here for my mother’s birthday. My mom is dairy free and she was so over the moon to have an ice cream cake. It was absolutely delicious and SO hard to believe that it wasn’t actually ice cream because it had all of the qualities of the best ice cream cakes like chocolate layers and becoming perfectly melty on your plate. “By far my favorite creamery! They have a great selection of both traditional dairy a and vegan choices. The vegan ice cream is so creamy and full of flavor- many uniquely delicious. Today I tried a beet, maple and rosemary flavor that surprised me and one called the lake, with royal spirulina andbgolden sea moss- had a fresh clean upfront flavor that ended with cake batter- yummm. The coffee hazelnut was my favorite though. I always grab a pint to go also.“

“From the reviews, I thought this was going to be a mind-blowing ice cream experience. Don't get me wrong, it was good, just not great. I've had ice cream in almost every state and this wouldn't be in my top 10. We had creme brulee, which would've been excellent minus the brulee topping, cookies and cream, which was okay and lastly not your cherries Garcia, which was the best of the 3. Also, the large, which I took the pic of, is everyone else's medium, although the $5.95 price is fair. “Adorable place. The 4 of us got breakfast here Easter Sunday. The tofu scramble was awesome no fake cheese or unnecessary ingredients. We enjoyed the crunch wrap and the waffle was insanely good you good tell it was fresh and it was dense. We also had the chick’n which we enjoyed and the tempeh bacon. After we did take home peanut butter and cookie doe truffles which were shockingly good. We will definitely be back and recommend this place highly.You pick up a menu at the entrance and order all up front and then the food comes out in to go boxes. You can eat there or outside seating“

“Nice location. Went during labor day week. Its a seasonal place. Outside dining. Ice-cream parlor is small and lines can get long but the service is amazing and the lines go by fast. Ordered the waffle sandwich and i was able to pick two flavors. I chose chocolate chip mint and cookie dough - amazing. The waffle was fresh and fluffy . I am so glad i came here. The waffle sandwiches on the board walk don't even compare.“

“Very cool and hip breakfast and brunch spot that really experiments with traditional favorites. The chicken and waffles provide a level of comfort that only real comfort food can provide. The brisket sandwich is flavourful, but you can end up with too much gristle. The coffee options are excellent and tasty. A hint of cinnamon or nutmeg, depending on the drink, really makes the beverage something special. Service is generally good, but some servers are more genial than others. Outdoor seating is a great option when temps climb above 60 degrees.“

Today I had Dave's Homemade Corned Beef Hash with all the bells and whistles: poached eggs, asparagus, Swiss, hollandaise...Absolutely delicious! Everything my wife and I tried was amazing: the biscuits with cinnamon honey butter, the coffee cake and the pancakes. Highly recommend The Buttered Biscuit. Service was also amazing.“

“Had the chef’s special …Chicken Pot Pie. It was outstanding!! Full of chicken and vegetables and this delicious sauce. I was a little concerned that the crust was thick but I had it with the sauce…it was perfect. Samosas were very flavorful as well. The chef even gave me a tasting of his pistachio cheesecake while I waited. It was to die for!! I will definitely be eating there again. You should too!!“

“We were looking for a quick dinner and stumbled upon this place last night (03/13) during our visit to NJ and were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food! We ordered the K8 plate. The chicken and lamb were both succulent and delicious, the rice was flavorful and seasoned well, the side salad had a hint of grape leaves and complimented the meal perfectly. It also came with a yogurt sauce and hot sauce; the hot sauce was not overtly spicy but had some heat as an aftertaste which I personally loved. The place is not too fancy, and the meal was served in disposable containers. But the staff were friendly and helpful and the place was clean overall. Would I return/recommend? Absolutely! If we're ever back in this area, I would come again for a quick meal.“
