“Nice food and good customer service, only parking is hard to find.Had dinner food quality and quantity both were good.Resturant is small in size and has only 4 booth that I have seen.Nice and warm atmosphere inside. Open sitting arrangement outside as well. If all 4 booths are occupied then you have to wait and waiting area has only 1 couple seat, more than 2 persons have to wait outside.“

My kids love tandoori chicken and Naan. They have super delicious smoothies. They have a Pan place and a mini sweets shop. Whenever we go to New Jersey, we make sure to come here. “Came here for a quick family dinner since my son attends Seton Hall. Service was kind and prompt. Food was excellent. We ordered Non Veg grill, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Keema, Butter Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala and Chole and Taka Dal. All of the items had balanced flavors, and heat levels were perfect. So many indian restaurants just make food spicy and leave it at that. Not this place. Every dish was unique in flavor even though we ordered the standard go to indian dishes.Serving sizes were ample and more than plenty for our 9 person table to share with one another. “I really liked the buffet, there were lots of options, both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The staff was very helpful and reactive for any questions. I liked the dessert options with ice cream too. It was not too crowded at the time we arrived for lunch so we didn’t have any wait time.“

“On August 30th, 2025, we enjoyed a fantastic lunch at New Shan-E-Punjab. We tried the mix non-veg platters, goat biriyani, and the non-veg thali. The food was truly delicious, with rich, authentic flavors that made every dish memorable. The goat biriyani was outstanding—aromatic rice with tender, well-cooked meat. The non-veg thali offered a delightful variety, and the mix platters were perfect for sharing. The portion sizes were excellent, making it a great value as well. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that we would definitely recommend!“

“We stopped in for lunch and had such a wonderful experience! The service was truly out of the ordinary — the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. My friend had just had surgery, and he was incredibly kind and attentive, constantly checking in to make sure she was okay and comfortable.

Parking: While there is convenience of parking lot. Once it fills. Super hard to park. Only a dozen spots.“
