The service is wonderful and our head waiter Anthony is a great guy who provides the best service. The food is beyond comparing it to another restaurant. My wife had the salmon with special sauces that she said was the best she ever had. The bone in veal parmigiana was the best I have ever had by far and there is no comparison. We had the blush pasta which also was outstanding. Our sincere gratitude to the Chef Vola staff for making my birthday extra special.“

The food is consistently outstanding, and the service is just as excellent. This cozy spot is a hidden gem for breakfast and lunch. “I ate here for the first time this summer when the first place I tried to go to had a line. I don't care how good the pizza is, I refuse to wait until a dozen or so people are done taking their time eating before I get seated. So I decided to come here and got the last available table without a wait.
Because one of my kids only eats plain, we had to get a plain pizza. It was gigantic. Biggest pizza I've seen before. The paper plates we were given were not quite enough to hold a slice, so we cut the ends off and finished them with the rest. It tasted good despite no toppings, and you can watch them make the pizza if you want.
The way you get your food is different, though. At the other pizza place we went to before, a waitress comes around like at a restaurant. Here, you have to order what you want where you walk in, and then sit down. They bring the pizza to your table, but be sure there's room. Not a big deal, but if you're not used to it, like we weren't, you could spend some time waiting for someone to take your order, and that person won't come. You have to get your own drinks to take with you, so be sure you have your entire order ready to go and pay for after you grab a table.
Between three of us, we couldn't finish the pie we got, so had to take the rest home, and it was fine the next day with a little oven reheating. Just be ready to have almost no room at your table once you get the pizza, as it's huge.“

“Great vegan breakfast spot! Conveniently located in the ShopRite plaza, don't let the location fool you. Plenty of space inside, with additional seating around back. Why did it take me so long to discover this amazing gem, located right here in Egg Harbor Township, NJ? I had heard that the vegan options were good and I was happy to finally give it a try, but I wasn't getting overly excited. Ha! Was I ever surprised...and in the BEST way possible. They have vegan options for breakfast and lunch (see pics). I went with the French toast and an omelette (w/ mushrooms, onion, spinach + cheese). Comes with potatoes, which were cooked to perfection, and a choice of toast, English muffin, or bagel. I opted for an everything bagel (w/ vegan butter) and it was fresh, chewy, toasted perfectly, I mean-really good. I can't say enough about what a great experience I had. Our waitress, Danielle, was helpful with our order and explained that they are very careful about vegan orders, cross-contamination, and allergies. Breakfast for 2 for under $50 (we didn't have coffee or other beverage) and we had plenty to take home. Can't wait to go back again!“

“bad experience at Vicks yesterday. The cheesesteak looked nothing like the pictures on their site. The meat was not flavorful. not chopped up enough. The cheese was just laid on top of the cheesesteak and came off when I took off the paper. they forgot my mushrooms and they didn't even cut it in half. I'm really surprised that the reviews are so high. I even paid the money for the extra meat?“

“First of all, we love ALL of our customers and I can tell you that we serve a variety of ethnicities. I can also tell you that our chefs cannot hear a thing back in our kitchen, so if you did say something, I can guarantee he didn’t hear you. But to put a bad review without even knowing the circumstances and trying to give us a bad name is irresponsible and immature. Maybe next time you can stop and ask instead of ASSUMING. We went from the happy hour, where William the bartender provided us with some insight on a few good wines available at the Verdi, over to dinner. I ordered the wine with a fabulous porkchop offered on the special 3 course. The price was very reasonable, especially at a high end restaurant. Service was on point without being all over you.
