“I stopped in on a whim because I was in the neighborhood. I got 4 bagels for the family and the veggie cream cheese. Fresh, excellent top-tier bagels! Black Russian and Egg! Plain! All delicious. We're all lucky in NJ that most bagels we can get are at least okay, but these were a cut above! And the cream cheese was delicious and fresh - vegetables still had a little crunch!

Also, I appreciate that they discourage people coming in and just buying up all the bagels. In the 5 minutes I was in there, lots of people popped in, clearly regulars, for their breakfast. It definitely felt like a go-to place in the community and they make sure they can be open to serve as many as possible. That's cool. I look forward to returning!“

“There are tons of bagel places in NJ, but we always find ourselves comparing to House of Bagels. Definitely our favorite bagels - they’re so soft and fluffy on the inside, great crust with plenty of seasoning (our whole family loves everything bagel). What really seals the deal for us is that the bagels freeze and reheat beautifully. They taste almost as good as new. Our kids have them almost every morning 😂 We’ve moved quite far away but always stock up on our favorite bagels whenever we have a reason to be back in the area.“

“Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

I found the bagels to be soft enough for my kid which was a big deal for him.

Ordered two iced macchiatos without the sugar which was really good

The lady at the register was sweet and welcoming.

It got busy and they handled it really well, it wasn’t a mad house like some places get.“

I called 5 Brothers from Wisconsin (not knowing anything about delis or restaurants in Lincoln Park, New Jersey—just going by google search) to order a couple trays of food for a memorial service in Lincoln Park which I could not attend. I am so happy my Google search led me to such a professional and helpful business. The two brothers I worked with listened to my situation and understood what I was hoping to provide food-wise, and then they suggested a mixed tray of baked goods and desserts that were perfect. They even sent me photos and a video of the finished trays of goodies after they put them together. And then they delivered. Amazing. Top-notch customer service. I highly recommend this company for food delivery and catering. Good, good people.“

I’ve honestly never had a bagel that good before. The exterior was crunchy and crispy, while the interior was airy and fluffy. Absolutely amazing. The cream cheese was an awesome compliment too. “Some of the best hand rolled bagels in NJ. Great crisp crust and wonderfully chewy textured inside. For those that are complaining they do not have a griddle, I believe they have a Kosher certification which means no meat can be served here since they use cream cheese (dairy). This was our go to bagel place when we lived in Fair Lawn, now we live in SC, and we come here to stock up on bagels to take south on every visit to NJ.“

“I found this gem of a spot when visiting family in NJ. This has to be the best I’ve had since becoming celiac 6 years ago. The bakery items are to die for and the bagel breakfast sandwiches are the best ever. I got to stop in this past weekend and got a few goodies to bring home. I ordered some sausage, egg and cheese’s on everything bagels and they were perfect, exactly what I needed to start my morning.

“So after being in New Jersey and going to about 8 bagel shops, I guess this is the one. So... I pull up and the first thing you will notice, parking is an issue. Luckily, people are coming and going so it took around 5 minutes to attain a parking spot. From the look of things, there may have been a parking lot in front of thee establishment before but it would seem that they decided to fill the parking lot with outdoor seating. From speaking to a patron, I understand because he told me that he always walks to the place. So on a nice day, I suppose the outdoor seating is great. You go inside and it's a small space and they have a few tables and chairs inside as well.

Inside and I'm in a line. Probably about 8 people ahead of me. I'm already thinking that these bagels must be damn good. Took about 10 minutes until I put my order in. In total I spent about 25 minutes at this spot. As I'm leaving, there are more people in line than when I got there. Just from seeing the bagels, they look soft and fresh. Just happy to have found the place. I get home and the bagels are just as good as they look. This clean bagel shop comes highly recommended and will be back! Great job guys!“

“I just moved to Jersey and saw Bagels by Jarrett on the news and decided to give it a try. My life has changed. It is my order at the end of a hard day. My comfort food. Don’t be fooled by the diverse menu because everything on it is a HIT! I may or may not have shed a tear when the delivery guy got here.“

I really appreciate that they use high-quality milk — it tastes great and keeps the drink low-calorie, which helps me stay in shape. Haha, athlete problems!

They also have super tasty pastries, granola, and other desserts. A bit more indulgent, but hey — that just means I’ll need to train a little harder. Totally worth it!

Do they compete with this place. One in Kinnelon and one in Butler. “This is one of my favorite food places. The bakery goods are fantastic. Bagels are made on premises and if you get lucky, you can get them fresh out of the oven.

Though not high end dining, this restaurant checks the boxes. Food is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is not fair to rate the atmosphere on the same plane as the other two. It’s not fancy but quite functional. Especially since it’s usually utilized as a take out place. Most of the time, I’m passing through. I phone in my order and pick it up shortly after. BTW, the tuna and chicken salads are to die for. Maybe the best I’ve ever had. The egg salad is no slouch either.“
