“There really isn’t much more to be said about this place. Having tried pretty much every whole wheat and multigrain bagel within a 15-mile radius, no one does it better.

The bagels are always fresh, but what really stands out is the service. I usually call ahead and ask if they have any whole wheat bagels left, and they are always kind enough to put some aside for me. One time, I picked up my order right before they were closing, and when I got home, I noticed they had thrown in an extra bagel. For them, it might have just been an extra bagel at the end of the day since they make everything fresh daily, but for a customer, that kind of service really means something.

It’s the little things like that that keep people coming back. I don’t get to visit as often as I’d like because it’s a bit far from my house, but honestly, if you want the best whole wheat or multigrain bagels, I’m not kidding—no one does it better. The service, the bagels, everything about this place is just great.“

“The bagels are definitely fresh and tasty. I'm glad I stumbled upon this place because it does have garlic bagels, which i love. Two other places i would go to never had the garlic. So this is my new go-to spot. Hubby loves the taylor ham, and my daughter loves the western omelet. A little bit of love for us all. Must try!“

“Boy, are we glad we added this special stop to our road trip from the Boston, MA area because they sell gluten-free bagels... and they're delicious...plain or with everything (poppy, sesame, garlic etc.) They even have packaged gluten-free snack items! “I stopped in on a whim because I was in the neighborhood. I got 4 bagels for the family and the veggie cream cheese. Fresh, excellent top-tier bagels! Black Russian and Egg! Plain! All delicious. We're all lucky in NJ that most bagels we can get are at least okay, but these were a cut above! And the cream cheese was delicious and fresh - vegetables still had a little crunch!

Also, I appreciate that they discourage people coming in and just buying up all the bagels. In the 5 minutes I was in there, lots of people popped in, clearly regulars, for their breakfast. It definitely felt like a go-to place in the community and they make sure they can be open to serve as many as possible. That's cool. I look forward to returning!“

“Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

“I stopped into Knead a Bagel this morning and had to leave a review because it was honestly one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Rima offered to make me a special lox bagel, and wow was it good. I’ve had a lot of lox bagels, but this was genuinely the best one I’ve ever had. Everything was perfectly balanced.. the right amount of lox, cream cheese, and toppings. Nothing was overwhelming and nothing was lacking. Every bite was perfect.

What really stood out, though, was Rima herself. She was so sweet, friendly, and welcoming. You can tell she cares about the food she’s making and the people she’s serving. She completely made my morning and turned a quick breakfast stop into something memorable.

Great food is one thing, but great food made by genuinely kind people is what keeps you coming back. Thank you, Rima, for the amazing bagel and for starting my day off on such a good note. I’ll definitely be back!“

I called 5 Brothers from Wisconsin (not knowing anything about delis or restaurants in Lincoln Park, New Jersey—just going by google search) to order a couple trays of food for a memorial service in Lincoln Park which I could not attend. I am so happy my Google search led me to such a professional and helpful business. The two brothers I worked with listened to my situation and understood what I was hoping to provide food-wise, and then they suggested a mixed tray of baked goods and desserts that were perfect. They even sent me photos and a video of the finished trays of goodies after they put them together. And then they delivered. Amazing. Top-notch customer service. “Located on Millburn Avenue in Short Hills, New Jersey, Bagel Pantry offers breakfast sandwiches and approximately 15 types of bagels and a few other items. The plain bagel was fresh and the cream cheese very high quality. Take out is popular, while others take a break at the 8 or so small tables. The lighting is somewhat dreary, and the ceiling and walls perhaps worn, but the service was pleasant and the prices certainly reasonable.“

“We visited the place last Saturday. The cheese bread is fresh but not really the bagels we got. We waited so long ; we found out that my daughter’s order was given to someone else but they did not care to replace it at once. When we asked about our order, that’s the time they rushed to prepare it , in less than five minutes, the sandwich was handed to us. When we were in the car since we’re already late for our next appointment, my daughter found out that the replacement was wrong. She paid for plain bagel with double eggs, bacon, and cheese but she was given with plain bagel with cheese only. They asked for our phone number but did not initiate the call. I hope they will do better in their team work.“

We explained, we were looking to take some good bagels back with us. The young lady(sorry I never asked your name) was so nice & accommodated us with a free sample of a pumpernickel bagel. We were over the moon & found heaven in a bagel! Fresh, tasty, delicious New Jersey bagels! We ordered 2 dozen to take home to Tennessee, which by the way you actually get 15 bagels for a dozen(must be some kind of new math, lol). Guessing the online bagels we’ve been getting will be on hold for quite a while, these bagel are worth the side trip if you are ever within 20 miles(for us 600 miles), do yourself a favor get some & the crumb cake they have is also delicious! “We had ordered DoorDash and waiting a good close to an hour to haven a driver accept the pickup/delivery. We called manhattan bagel and explained the situation, we were trying to cancel the order and just pick up ourselves but DoorDash didn’t allow us to change from delivery or pickup, so ok. As we were on the phone with manhattan bagel they also noticed our order was sitting there but in the same time a driver accepted the pickup and delivery so we said okay we will wait. The order gets delivered and when we go outside the order was gone. The door dasher left it outside without notifying us or anything. So now we are out of breakfast, cool. I go tot he store personal and just replace my order because we reported it to DoorDash and they claimed to return our refund. When I got there and ordered and paid. Alex the gentleman who took our call of concern was present when I place my order. He kindly without me asking helped me with my order discounted me but I had to buy something. I don’t believe it was their fault it was on DoorDash. I just want to give a shoutout to Alex and the staff there. When I got there to place my order all the tables inside were taken, it was busy and still they gave grace and kindness. I love seeing that from an establishment. And I highly recommend going here. They are kind. Now full disclosure I’m not saying to go there and claim this. I had proof this happened and I’m glad Alex acknowledged that. Regardless bagel and croissant with BECSPK. Was amazing and their strawberry and blackberry lemonade is amazing. All in all I want to thank them for showing kindness and taking the burden on BEHALF OF DOORDASH!

“We live in Harrison and have spent months trying to find a quality bagel place that also serves a French toast bagel. I’ve been eating Taylor ham egg&cheese on a French toast bagel for 20 years from various places in North Jersey. This morning we ordered from B&B the first time via UberEats and I had what I’m fairly certain is the best French toast bagel I’ve ever had. I’mglad I accidentally ordered 2. “Clean, fast, terrific selection. Easy in and out parking. Had good old egg and sausage on a roll = best I’ve ever had. Great coffee, offered 1/2 and 1/2 self serve. No waiting in line. Make it while they make your sandwich. If I commuted this would be my every morning spot.“

“This is one of my favorite food places. The bakery goods are fantastic. Bagels are made on premises and if you get lucky, you can get them fresh out of the oven.

Though not high end dining, this restaurant checks the boxes. Food is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is not fair to rate the atmosphere on the same plane as the other two. It’s not fancy but quite functional. Especially since it’s usually utilized as a take out place. Most of the time, I’m passing through. I phone in my order and pick it up shortly after. BTW, the tuna and chicken salads are to die for. Maybe the best I’ve ever had. The egg salad is no slouch either.“
