Mr. Brainfreez had all the classics — soft serve, Italian ice, ice cream sandwiches, and bars — something for everyone to enjoy! He was incredibly polite and patient with the students, making the whole experience smooth and fun.
He helped turn a special occasion into an even more memorable one for our students, and you could tell he genuinely cared about creating a positive experience.

“Found my new favorite beach spot! The Victorian Grill in Ocean Grove is this super cute, small corner restaurant with a chill seaside vibe. Loved the outdoor seating—it's way quieter than other beach areas.
Okay, but let's talk about the food. The Bacon Burger, medium, was literally one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. As a total burger fanatic, this is easily in my top 5. The patty was huge, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The seasoning was incredible and stayed with me every single bite. I was so full, but honestly debated getting another one. The fries portion was a bit small, but they were so well-seasoned I didn't even care. If you're in the area, you HAVE to stop here. So worth it!“

“Been a while since I've seen a Tom Carvel ad (I suspect he's dipping cones in hot fudge in the heaven location now), and maybe 15+ years since I've enjoyed the custard at Carvel. Have done lotsa DQing. It's okay. And I think the dense, dense thick custard at Rita's may be a richer take on the confection. But Tom's custard was great on a hot late summer day.“

“This location can get very busy as expected… but it’s not the employee’s fault. It’s the geniuses that decide to come here thinking they can sample or customize everything along with their 10 kids… that’s what holds the line up

“Tonight I ran across the sweetest young lady with a heart full of compassion. My apple pay was failing me and I couldn’t pay for my child’s ice cream; then Cheinha (our server who helped us with such eagerness from start to finish) payed my balance. While I plan on going back and gifting this young lady; I wanted to shout her out for her act of kindness because in the world we live in that type of “love for your fellow man” isn’t seen to often anymore and it was definitely appreciated . “The cookies and cream ice cream at this Carvel was incredibly creamy and had a perfectly balanced sweetness. The addition of the unique hot fudge topping was also loved. The staff was friendly and offered samples. The shop was clean and had a fun, vibrant atmosphere with comfortable seating. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a sweet treat any day. “We were there on Monday of Labor Day Weekend and the staff and the place was amazing! You can imagine the rush when you go to a place like that on Labor Day weekend, add on top of that exhausted parents and over stimulated kids and it’s a recipe for disaster. But they were so patient and amazing and considerate and helpful when we were there. The portions are insane. The cookies are beyond amazing, still fresh 3 days later! And you’re on the beach. What more could you ask for? I’ll def be back!“
“Sea Bright (NJ), a small town tucked between Shrewsbury River and Atlantic Ocean on the Jersey Shore. Yes there are more popular towns on the Jersey Shore. But this town has Gracie & The Dudes (1062 Ocean Ave Sea Bright, NJ). Plus, one of the better Thai Food joints (Moo Yai Thai, next door) in NJ.
There is something about small-town home-made ice cream by the shore. It always seems creamier and more authentic. The Espresso Coffee flavored ice-cream packs a punch (It will wake you up). Banana with chips is another winner. I had Chocolate with Cherry (really amazing).
I would rather have ice cream at Gracie & The Dudes than some fancy place in a big town. Let me correct that, ideally, I would have the Thai Food (just counter service and take out) at Moo Yai Thai and then go for the ice next door.“

There is always at least one flavor per week that you will absolutely love and devour! “Carvel NEVER disappoints!! The best soft serve you will ever have in your life. You gotta have it with the marshmallow sauce, hot fudge and crunchies!! Every time I’ve been to them I’ve never gotten bad ice cream. Go there you won’t regret! This is the best one I’ve been to out of all the ones I’ve gone!“
