“The most amazing and delicious Turkish Breakfast I ever had. Not only in New Jersey area. I’ve tried lots of places in the Tri-State area and it’s definitely 5 Stars. Everything is homemade. There’s a lot of food when you order Turkish Breakfast. The cheese on the platter is very rich. Definitely try the Turkish eggy toast. It’s absolutely so yummy. It’s only on Sundays 10:00am-2:00pm. The atmosphere is fantastic. Especially for any kind of showers or parties. I’ve found out they have 2 more locations in Cliffside Park,NJ & Livingston,NJ as well. The owner is super nice and he welcomes and is so polite to customers. The prices are very reasonable. They have a huge parking lot. Handicapped customers are welcome to restrooms and parking lot.“

Flavor was very authentic Middle Eastern in both the shawarma and pickles. I also had their fattoush which was very good. 2 people can easily be served from both the shawarma and fattoush! “My favorite Cava location to date. Every time I’m craving something fresh and filling, I know I can count on them. The bowls are SO customizable, and I love that I can choose exactly what I’m in the mood for. Their ingredients are always super fresh, and I can tell they put a lot of care into their food. “New to town. Checking out falafel in the area. Came upon The falafel guy on my walk home from YMCA. A small mostly take out joint with Mousa, the master, running the show. Don’t expect the fastest service because everything is made to order. Falafel was top notch. While you’re waiting, don’t be surprised if Mousa offers you a small cup of the soup he’s cooking for the day. His lentil soup was spiced just right and delicious. Prices are reasonable as well!“

They only accept cash and Venmo however, so if you don’t know that prior to arriving- it could be a little turn off. From the wait staff to the kitchen staff to management, everyone was incredibly friendly, unbelievably accommodating when it came to food allergies (they came out to talk about everything in specific detail to make sure it was safe before it was cooked and served), and the food was absolutely delicious!! I would absolutely recommend trying Marakesh out if you haven't been. They will be more than happy to go over the menu and explain anything you might not recognize or need changed because of restrictions. You can also call ahead so it can be prepped ahead of time for you. I will definitely be back again!!“

“After a tasty round of appetizers including tangy baked Fava beans, creamy smooth hummus, baba ghanoush and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside falafel, we feasted on two lamb dishes, one of which was perfectly grilled, and an order of couscous with vegetables. I still remember today how great everything tasted. Service was friendly and efficient and the decor included lamps and accessories imported from Morocco. Portions were generous and they provide containers for the leftovers. You can only eat so much! Highly recommended.“

“One of our favorite places to take out. Everything is always fresh and the quality never changes. My husband and I love their wraps and my kids love their chicken fingers. The fries are the best and travel well / never soggy. The staff is also always so friendly - including and especially John who kindly runs the food out to my car anytime I call ahead if I happen to be with my kids so I don’t have to unload and load 2 kids just to run inside and grab the order. “This is a great little café/diner right next to the Westfield train station. We are fairly new to Westfield and went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We were wowed by the wonderful customer service of our waitress, Cindy. She was very attentive, provided great order suggestions and also brought over their delicious housemade hot sauce to go along with our eggs. All the food we ordered was wonderful, including the short stack of chocolate chip pancakes, the egg and cheese sandwich on a hard roll, and the Florentine omelette. The chef (maybe owner?), Ash even stopped by later on towards the end of our meal to check on how everything was. We meant to write this review right after that, but then never got around to it and when we went back today a few weeks later, we realized how much we needed to write this up! This time Kirsten and Cindy both helped us out, and Cindy remembered us by our orders from the last time even though we had only been here one time- very impressive and shows a great attention to detail and customer service. Ash came by also, and it was clear he remembered us as well. The food was fresh and tasty yet again (we got the French toast, egg and cheese sandwich, and Greek omelette this time) and the prices are great. This place is a gem and is definitely becoming one of our go-to spots!“

“We had been driving for a long time today and it was around 945pm and they were the only place open. They were getting ready to close but they welcomed us in and we placed our order and it was amazing. We got the Grandpa, the Sicilian, and the sausage. All by the slice. The Sicilian was so light and fluffy the grandpa was so fresh tasting and the sausage was just as good. Thank you wish we lived here so we could eat here all the time. If these Texans ever get back this way you will be a stop on our trip.“

“Humble seems to be the best word to summarize this restaurant. The men who run it seem to have a great rapport with their customers; they’ve been there for 20+ years and it shows. They were kind and accomodating. The food was plated carefully and was pretty taste. My only complaints were putting margarine on my pancakes without asking and the tiny plastic utensils, which left my hands covered in syrup. However both of those go to the restaurant being unpretentious. There’s no atmoshere to speak of but it was clean. I’d eat here again but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.“
