We have lived in Hawthorne for 8 years and have passed this place so many times, so glad we stopped in tonight. We were greeted by Samantha and Rubby, they recommended some bowls and they were delicious!!! They both were extremely helpful and kind. I was extremely impressed by the courteous service from Samantha. This is my new go to place for Açaí bowls.“

The açaí comes from a machine (like soft serve), which I feel gives a better consistency than some places that might blend it too thick or thin. Look, açaí bowls are expensive practically everywhere. Why not go somewhere like Oak Berry where you get UNLIMITED options?? So many great things to choose from here!

Vegetarian options: There isn’t any meat here. And although there are a few non-vegan options, almost everything is vegan as well.

“Would not recommend protein smoothies here. There's barely any protein in them to be protein smoothies. Around 10g on average in them. Doesn't justify the price.

The other smoothies are good though. I'd recommend this place for those.“

“I love Cali Shakes and everything is always delicious. Staff is friendly, the place is clean and fruits are fresh. I recently tried their protein shakes which I love BUT I noticed they do not put the full serving in the protein shakes. The protein serving size is 2 scoops. They only give you one scoop and I was asked to pay for the second scoop. Shouldn’t a protein shake come with the full serving?
I’m hoping they can include that in the near future.“

“I often stop by Method Cafe during my lunch break, and I can’t recommend it enough! My go-to is the Mozzarella Pesto Sandwich, which is simply perfect every time. “Perfect start to the day! We stayed here 4 or 5 times during our week in NY for breakfast. We tested porridge, acai bowls and smoothies. The "Hell's Kitchen Sink" tastes awesome (with peanut butter and cocoa nips.) The smoothies Boo Berry, Gymbuddy and Energy Boost are each made with almond or coconut milk and protein powder .We loved everything! The service is very friendly and There are only a few seats, so we were there early (about 8 / 9h) and had no problems getting a small table.Now we are back home and miss the delicious bowls!“

Reading the founders story and appreciating the immersive design of the location you can almost feel like you escaped from 2nd avenue off to a warm sunny beach elsewhere. Enjoy surfing the flavors of your bowl, there is no need for sunscreen and you won't need to clean up any sand before you get back home. There is an additional seating space to and a restroom inside. The servings are bigger than your average Asai bowl (may be enough for 2) but the prices are also relatively high.“

After two decades of being a loyal patron, I can confidently say that Juice Generation continues to set the gold standard for quality and service. While my last juice of the day wasn’t my favorite (a rare miss in 20 years!), I felt a little hesitant about saying something—but the manager, Adolfo, handled it with such professionalism and kindness that I was reminded why I absolutely love this place. The customer service here is consistently top-tier.

My yogi best friend still fondly remembers the field trip I took her on to Juice Generation—she raves about it to this day. We often daydream about opening a Juice Generation in her new home of Hawaii or in our shared hometown of downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. (Trust me, the people there need this in their lives!)

If you haven’t tried Juice Generation yet, consider this your sign. Their smoothies are rich, refreshing, and never slimy like some of the imitators out there. The vegan muffins are absolutely delicious, and the salads? A bright, crisp little pick-me-up that never disappoints.

My only complaints are that the blender is loud, making it hard to communicate and understand the server. Also, the drinks from the “Butterfly Pea” series taste like water after a while. “We had a family dinner at Rockin Roots as the kick off to an event filled weekend. We wanted something more casual and fun with an elevated twist. We worked with Mike and he came up with a perfect menu to make our picky kids and adult foodies happy. When we arrived the table was set and delicious appetizers were ready to go!! I must admit, Playa Bowls has the best acai in town. I pass by another Playa Bowl store in the morning before I get to the office however the location at Urban Space (at 570 Lexington Ave) is where I go cause I love the service.“
