“What a delightful ice cream parlor! I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my visit, from the exceptional customer service to the delectable ice cream. It was my first time there, and I’m already planning my next visit. It was a perfect treat to end my Zumba class on a sweet note. 🤭“

I live across the country and I wanted him to have something special on his 21st bday…she took care of it beyond my expectations!!! Run don’t walk over to her shop!!! THE BEST SERVICE AND OMG MY SON IS STILL TELLING ME HOW MUCH HE LOVED HIS CAKE!!! Delicious!!!! Thank you for helping me make his day special 🥰“

“I was a bride from a distance and used this bakery for my wedding day, and I’m so glad I did! Their cupcakes were absolutely decadent—so delicious you truly couldn’t stop eating them. The frosting was light and not overly heavy, and the cake itself was hands-down the best. Everything tasted fresh, rich, and perfectly made. I would recommend them to anyone looking for wedding desserts or cupcakes that wow your guests!“

“my go to for my matcha antioxidant fix by the skatepark.“

“I need to say that Renee and Carrie are amazing! Very amazing service, being able to be answered in French at the boutique was amazing! I drove twice in 2 days to grab cupcakes and cookies… I cannot say what’s my favourite out of the cupcake, the brownies, the cookies etc because everything was decadent and not too sweet. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! If you like some fluffy, moist, creamy cupcake this is your place… While planning my wedding, I’ve compared a few bakery and non are as good as this one… Thank you for the amazing experience and taste!“

“I ordered a custom cake, cupcakes and a picadera platter. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. I would recommend for the baker to put the cake in the fridge before delivering as it came a little melted. The frosting on cupcakes slid off but either way the children didn’t care so I will still give it 5 stars.“

“I had a pumpkin cookie and a cookies and cream cookie. Both were delicious. I highly recommend!“

“The Modern Cakery is incredible! I found them on instagram looking for a bakery that makes detailed children’s birthday cakes. I placed an order for a Rapunzel themed cake, and they were very helpful with any questions I had as well as flexible with changes I made to the design. My daughter was in love with the cake, the quality was amazing, and everyone at her party was asking where we got her cake from. Not only that, the cake tasted amazing and was probably the best tasting cake I’ve ever eaten besides my own wedding cake. I would highly recommend them for any event that needs a cake, and plan to use them again for future birthdays!“

“Received the most amazing surprise birthday cake from SJ! It was as delicious as it was beautiful! This is our third time ordering from SJ, and each time it has been better than the last! I cannot recommend using them for any baked needs you have! We have gotten the chocolate cake with Oreo filling twice and there’s never any cake left! Everyone loves it! Thank you so so much SJ for helping make my birthday magical! See comments for pic of the cake ☺️“

“The pistachio cupcakes are out of this world 😊 . My Mom was a phenomenal baker and this cupcake came very close to what my Mom made ! Moist , light and not too sweet 👍🏾“

“Amazing pastries with lots of love put into them! Great gift for my Father’s birthday. Excellent customer service too.“

“Simply magical! Hands down the best of Chinese pastries.
Pretty much everything worths trying, savory and sweet stuff! Especially the salted egg yolk bolo bun! Even the cha siu bun which I normally hate is good, many other places do it greasy and overly sweet, this place’s is great and you won’t taste any off putting pork taste. We thought we bought enough for breakfast tomorrow but basically finished everything after we got home.
They have limited seasonal stuff so make sure to check it out. Sometimes they close earlier than it’s listed here and many times the popular items are sold out way before they close. So make sure to get there before they’re gone.
Atmosphere wise, I mean it’s traditional Chinese place so don’t expect something Instagram selfies worthy but it definitely feels authentic.
The auntie working at the cashier is so welcoming, helpful, and attentive. Feels just like back home in China and nostalgic as I grew up eating these delicious pastries.“

“Best cupcakes ever! I recently found out about this great baker and have been buying her cupcakes ever since. Delicious and delivered within a few hours from ordering! Highly recommend!!!“

“Steph’s Baking Boutique was recommended from a local page. I am from out of the area, but needed to order a cake for my sister-in-law’s baby shower. This was a perfect recommendation! Steph did a fantastic job, the cake was delicious and we ordered cupcakes in another flavor to accompany the cake. I had sent her some ideas and photos and she went above and beyond. For the toppers of the cupcakes I thought she would just do an icing decoration, but she added sugar cookies and they came out so cute and complimented our theme perfectly! Thank you again!“

“Siiii!!! Me encanta lo que hacen!! Sigan asi!! Saludos desde ARGENTINA!! 😃😃“

“Picked up Di Lena’s Dolcini cookies at the Astoria Night Market and they were amazing. The Brown Butter Pecan White Chocolate was buttery and nutty with a cozy sweetness, and the Chocolate Chip had that perfect chewy texture with soft chocolate pockets. You can taste the love in every bite. So worth it. 💛🍪“

“Excelente servicio, productos deliciosos“

“A bakery that truly understands perfection! I cannot stop raving about the pastries and cakes from this place. The flavors are so rich and the textures so perfectly delectable. What sets this bakery apart is the evident love and passion that goes into every single creation. And when you enter, the aroma in the store is simply intoxicating. The staff is always welcoming and offers exceptional customer service. You can count on finding fresh and delightful treats every single time. Do yourself a favor and indulge in their amazing selection of pastries!“

“These cupcakes are always a hit and well worth the price as they are consistently delicious. They are perfect gift for many occasions and even though my first delivery order did not make it to the destination somehow they replaced the order immediately without any questions and sent over a new box.“

“Have been going to Sweet for years and so it was extra special to get our wedding cake from there. Cannot speak highly enough about the Sweet team - unlike other vendors they did not try to upcharge us for a wedding cake, talked through the pros and cons of various choices, and their delivery to our venue was seamless. Thank you again!“

“I work for a law firm in CA and we have an employee who works remotely in NY.. For our employee's birthday I wanted to choose a bakery close to her home and who was local. Stumbled upon Buttercup Bake Shop and they were so awesome! Totally worked with me and delivered the cupcakes with NO hassle. Needless to say our NY employee was super happy and LOVED the flavors and decorations of the cupcakes. ❤️“

“Visit the bakery yesterday, and it was worth every dollar I spend. The Pecan cream ring tasted just how I remembered when I was a kid. I also bought one double chocolate cookie, which was amazing!! I wish I bough more. The staff was super nice and helpful. I grew up in pal park, and the bakery was always the go to spot for our desserts. Keep it going and no slacking on the deliciousness. Going back today for more cookies😁“

“Awesome place and flavor!! Daughter loved it“

“We often stop by this Baked By Melissa store in GSP. It is a small counter of take out only store. They have online pickup options as well. Different kinds of cake packs and sizes are displayed in front of the counter. The store usually has good inventory and variety of packs.

In recent months, they introduced individual small cakes instead of whole packs. They have 6-8 flavors on display. My daughter usually pick 4-5 flavors a for 6 pack. We love the tiny cakes. They are always fluffy and delicious. They stay good in the fridge up to a week after opening a pack.

Staff are always friendly and courteous. They also have membership benefits that includes special offers, birthday perks and few more good benefits.“

“I ordered a Palermo’s Bakery wedding Cake for my New Jersey December 2023 wedding and tasting that cake with my husband was truly a slice of heaven! Not only did our cake look beautiful but it tasted delicious which I was honestly not expecting! I thought we3dding cakes just all looked beautiful, I didn’t realize they could taste this good! We had a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and CANOLLI cream filling which was AMAZING! I honestly still crave it to this day! We added our own little doggie figurines to our cake, and it looked perfect when displayed at our wedding! We skipped the cake tasting because we ran out of time but honestly, we didn’t need it! Palermo’s delivered a PERFECT wedding cake for us, and it exceeded our expectations the day of our wedding! I 100% recommend you utilize Palermo’s Bakery for your Wedding Cake and honestly any of your other cake needs for your special events!“
