“Can a slice of cake be life changing? I'm literally in the middle of eating a slice of their strawberry sumac cake and I'm definitely feeling that way. It's so dense and moist but still also fluffy and refreshing? The flavor is deep and complex but still accessible and it has a rich level of sweetness without being cloying. It's a slice of cake that can't be consumed mindlessly - it stops you in your tracks when you take a bite because it's THAT good. I'm being long-winded but as someone who has eaten more cake than advisable in their lifetime, I am grateful to have ByClio in my neighborhood as a place that not only delights but excites with every new flavor offered. Also they have excellent coffee!“

“Quaint little spot with a great front counter delicious selection of all types of empanadas from sweet to savory and another section with beautiful desserts that taste as good as they look. I wasn’t expecting much and assumed it was probably cuter in atmosphere than food was tasty but I was so suprised. Everything I’ve ordered from the Mangu breakfast, empanadas, tiramisu, cappuccinos, chicken soups- grilled chicken w rice and beans- it’s all been so good. Even their house salad is dressed perfectly - simple, old school and delicious- little gold nugget in North Arlington. Not to mention the women at the counter are so sweet and kind. Genuinely go out of their way to be helpful.“

“***4 1/2 stars**I'm not sure how crazy I am about this place being a few blocks from where I live, but I suppose that's not Mo & Jay's fault. I've been aware of this bakery/pastry establishment for a few years (I think it showed up in this relatively new apartment building on Main Street two or three years ago), but hadn't actually thought to go inside until yesterday morning. I was entrusted with obtaining a dessert for a weekend BBQ, and it occurred to me that this was at least the easiest spot to quickly grab something. The fact that the desserts were extremely good ended up being a pleasant accident/bonus.I brought one of my top tier chums to assist with the purchase. From very brief research, it seemed like the eclairs were the big selling point here. I thought it would also be a little wily on my part to get them because I tend to not enjoy eating food that has stuff in it, and figured I'd be unlikely to do anything too naughty with that. That turned out not to be accurate, but I digress. We got the five for $25 éclair deal, and procured a raspberry, a lemon meringue, a nutella, a pistachio and a cookies & cream. Just as we were about to wrap up, I also impulsively grabbed a cheddar/bacon scone, which was humongous and understandably caught my eye.The eclairs were definitely a hit. My personal favorite was the cookies & cream. The flavor was incredibly on point, and it was almost like a meta ice cream experience. The only issue with that one specifically was that the cream inside was runnier than the other pastries, which made it a little messy. Not a huge deal. The runner-up was probably the raspberry for me. Again, extremely flavorful, almost to a fault - it was overwhelmingly tart, which is obviously kind of a calling card for raspberries but if you're not into that, I'd stay away. The nutella was actually a little on the bland side for me but not bad. The lemon meringue was a big hit for everyone else, but I'm not a huge fan of that flavor to begin with - I don't think that's a mark against this place by any means. In hindsight, we probably wouldn't have gotten the pistachio, but none of us are hardcore pistachio fans. The cream consistency and dough for all of these was very high quality, and understandably a lot of this is going to come down to how you feel about specific flavors.In a final twist later on, I sampled the scone around dinner time and was very pleasantly surprised - the scone was very moist and tasty, and was reminiscent of a Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit, though probably at least twice the size and with actual pieces of bacon in it. Very strong recommend on that front.The service was very good. We had a pleasant female cashier assisting us as my chum was literally squatting on the ground eagerly peering into the display case squealing out flavors to get. Zero issues there, and we were in and out within a few minutes uneventfully. There were also a lot of cakes and other types of pastries, so I expect I'll be returning shortly to obtain their assistance with another BBQ.“

There are also so many sugar free options as well (keto) which is excellent. My husband is not gluten free nor super sugar conscious and also loves everything from here!A few things that would make this place better to consider: being closed Sunday and Monday is tough if that was mid week it would make my purchases probably 2x in frequency, can you sell mini sized cookies or cookies in 12 packs? Thats definitely one of the best items I would buy that weekly.“

“I had went to three different bakery trying to get a specific design a cake and was turned away . Finally I was recommended by a friend to to see Emily at Bella Vida pastry . Im glad I did ,I have to say my goddaughter sweet 16 turned out so beautiful it was more then we expected we sent her a picture and she matched it to the tee, and it tasted amazing. And let me not forget to mention their very reasonable in their prices They will definitely get my business again.“

“Their pastries are amazing. The service is amazing. Sweet sugary goodness. Got addicted after a coworker brought a box of the pecan danish's and I will never go anywhere else. What's nice is that you can place an order before hand for pick up since those go out super fast by high demand. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays which is a bummer but definitely give them a try. Small bakery but big impact on your taste buds! Love it!“

“Visited this bakery in 2022 so sorry for delay in the review. Incredibly good gluten free baked goods. Don't let the outside confuse you - my wife and I thought it was perhaps closed down at first! But have confidence and you will earn your baked reward - and what a reward! We chose the cinnamon buns which were perfection. I should note that this bakery is more of a "buy a loaf of bread or a tray of cakes and take them home" rather than a "grab a singular bun and eat it there and then" place (although the baker kindly prepared a couple of buns from our tray of buns for us to enjoy right away). “I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes from Three Daughters Baking Company for our daughter’s Baby Shower on Feb. 25, 2024. They did a wonderful job accommodating my request. The cupcakes were delicious and not too sweet. I had sent them a Pinterest photo of how I wanted them to “swirl” the icing so it would look like a flower on top and use several colors of icing because I was going to arrange them in a “cupcake bouquet.” I was very pleased with how the cupcakes tasted and also how they looked.Photos attached show the cupcakes by Three Daughters Baking. (The flower stems and ribbon were provided by the customer. )Their service, their food and everything was excellent! I highly recommend Three Daughters Baking Company!“

“Ordered breakfast from Cafe Quetzal next door. They are the operated by the same family. Tried all three breakfast dishes and they were all three great. Really enjoyed the brunch tostadas and would recommend to anyone. The El Guatemalteco is great too. Will be back as soon as i can. The staff is outstanding and reasonable prices. Very good foot.“

“We strolled in here at like 3 am after deciding we wanted ice cream and while it was cool we found ice cream at 3am in times square it wasn't cool the chick served me dairy free ice cream with out telling me. My son in law ordered the cookies and cream after me and they guy that was now doing the serving said it was dairy free then my son in law started making fun of me for ordering dairy free ice cream. I ate it, but I felt it had to have been much better tasting if it was real ice cream. It's really hard for me to leave a review because I feel I ate fake ice cream.“
