Not only did he take my huge order last minute...he delivered it in time for lunch for the teachers and staff!!! They loved it. “Another visit to Faicco's on another trip to NYC was just as good as always. We loved the Rice, Prosciutto, and Potato Balls. The only gripe was the Fried Ravioli. It was not good with hard ravioli and hard cheese even after heating up. We only ate half of the dozen we ordered and that was too many. Can't beat the prices though! Great service otherwise!“

“Cangiano's is a delightful gem of a find for all things Italian in Jersey City. We found this Deli to be an excellent source for Italian groceries and cooked meals, including sandwiches and pastas. There is an enormous selection of options,and the staff is super nice and friendly. We had the Penne Pasta in Vodka Sauce as well as a Grilled Chicken sandwich and both were excellent. Had a everything bagel w/ cream cheese for 2.99 and everything bagel with peanut butter for 3.10. Ofcourse the quantity of cream cheese or PB was noticeably less but if you can live with that all is fine. Coffee is okay.

“This fine Italian deli has been around since 1996. I used to work up the block and came here regularly for lunch sandwiches or a homemade chicken parmesan or eggplant parmesan. I moved out of the area after retiring, and I was back visiting in Hackensack. We went here for lunch hero sandwiches. We all opted for a number 10, turkey with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and balsamic vinegar. Ooooh, so good! Just like what I remember from 25 years ago. Cosmo looks the same..... just a little older! We washed the sandwiches down with Dr Brown' cream sodas. They also carry Stewart's sodas. Wow! You don't find that delicious soda in a deli often. Cosmo carries the best products! BTW: the sandwiches are loaded up with the ingredients; there's no skimping here. I totally forgot sandwich photos before I ate half, as we all dove in to eat after getting home. Parking is just behind the deli. If you're traveling down Rt 4, get off at either Main St (eastbound) or Kinderkamack Rd (westbound). I highly recommend this excellent Italian deli. It's the real deal!“

“Bayonne’s finest. Thr pastrami reuben is the thing to come for apparently. It wasn’t too fatty which was good and sliced thin. It was kind of hard to eat though but who cares. Solid reuben. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

“This place is amazing! I have celiac disease and have a hard time finding safe places to eat. I had the gluten free chicken tender platter and chocolate chip cookies, which were both unbelievable. The wait staff was incredibly kind and attentive and explained that everything was prepared separately using a dedicated fryer. My gluten consuming family also loved their food. My husband said it was the best pastrami he’s ever had and my son had an “extra cheesy” grilled cheese. The owner visited our table and introduced himself. Cannot recommend this place enough!“

“So, no shade to anyone but….there’s Subway, and then there’s Vito’s. I had to stop eating at Subway sometime ago. The quality drastically reduced and it just didn’t hit the same for me. Last summer, a friend and I came across Vito’s. We were craving a good hero/cold cut and checked out some of the reviews and saw that they were good, so went inside. We ordered turkey heroes and they were EXCEPTIONAL. Now I know some may think that it isn’t hard to make or find a good turkey cold cut, but trust me, it IS, and I’ve had many bad turkey cold cuts. It’s quite disappointing. What really makes a bad turkey cold cut bad, is, well, the turkey lol. You can taste when it isn’t quality turkey, when it’s processed, etc. It just doesn’t taste the same. When tasting these turkey cold cuts from Vito’s, the bread was amazing, the turkey was amazing, it was fresh and filling! It was also good service. The staff took our sandwich orders and nailed them! I went back last week for another turkey cold cut and it was also more than exceptional. So simple, yet exceptional. Thank you for quality heroes, Vito’s. I need to go back to try some of their pastas and sauces because everything is simply made and authentic. I will absolutely be back. Also, they have a happy hour, everyone!
