“First time at Coney Shack and I’m already hooked. This spot is such a cool blend of Vietnamese flavors with street food vibes, and everything we tried hit the mark.

We started with the crispy fish tacos—super light, crunchy, and packed with flavor. The lemongrass chicken banh mi tacos were my personal favorite: juicy, perfectly seasoned, and with just enough heat to keep things interesting. You can tell they’re not afraid to play around with flavor while still keeping the balance right.

The vibe inside is casual and fun—bright, energetic, and perfect for grabbing food with friends. Staff was super friendly and patient while we figured out what to order (so many good options!).

Prices are very fair for the quality, and the portions are generous. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving something bold and different. I’m already planning to come back to try the short rib quesadilla everyone raves about.“

“I’ve been coming to this small business for about 3/4 years now and although it’s just a taco truck I know enough that all I have to do is pick up my order and eat it at my house or enjoy it with my partner at the nearby park. I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“

“I’ve tried over a dozen Halal carts in the city, and this one has by far the best chicken over rice. Once you try it, you’ll go out of your way to come here every time you crave halal.

The chicken is juicy and always perfectly flavored and cooked. All ingredients are fresh. The sauces are great, and the red sauce is VERY spicy (love it)

The folks running it are super friendly and the cart is kept clean.

From the moment we contacted them through their website, they were professional, prompt, and friendly.We invited them for our annual Black Student Social which is a fall semester welcome program. The staff were kind and worked quickly to serve over 200 students. Our students were happy with their tacos and burritos. The owner was very accommodating and met all of our needs.Administratively, I was very impressed with Bro-Ritos. We made A LOT of requests and changes and had to work through the nuances of getting a new vendor approved, but Bro-Ritos was always responsive and on top of it.
