“Everything we have ordered has been fabulous. My personal favorite are the homemade soups--they are my go to dinner on a busy night or a chilly day. I felt under the weather today and ordered the chicken orzo soup. It came piping hot with warm fresh rolls....just what I needed! And of course...finish off with a cannoli!“

“My family had dinner at Albertinos today for my mom and husbands birthday. Because there was 9 of us they require a fix price meal for each person. This price includes an app, main, and dessert - anything on the menu. The service here is outstanding. The food is better than anywhere else in town, and for me- the best Italian I have ever had. Dinner for 9 of us took about three hours. To me, this is amazing. There was no rush. They made sure everything was perfect. We were able to relax and enjoy our time. We have been there two other times and have had the same waitress. The daughter of the owner (Jsut another plus). She is bubbly and kind and makes sure everyone has a great time. Thank you for a great evening.“

“The Bok building is a magical place, but go to the roof and eat at Irwins. The food, drink, and service was outstanding. The outdoor rooftop seating has a beautiful view of south Philly. Our reservation was outside. During our experience it did rain a bit, but it was worth staying. Our server was a trooper for keeping the patio goin. At night during a Phils/Eagles game you can hear the crowd roar. Electric.

The food and drink was great. There are Mezze, Pasta, Main Entree and Dessert options. I assume the menu is seasonal based on the ingredients, but I am unsure. There is a cocktail menu, wine offerings and full bar. I didnt have time to even take pictures of all the food and cocktails we were enjoying it soo much. We ordered about half the menu and will be returning to order the remaining items.

Dessert is worth it's own mention. At a lot of places, dessert is kinda a throwaway/pass. Not at Irwins. I told my wife we will also be coming back to Irwins solely for drinks and desserts next time we are eating somewhere else close by. We got the Milk and Honey Pistachio Gelato and an Almond Torta Cake that should be nominated for some kind of award.

I would recommend making a reservation. If the weather is nice, eat outside. Tell your spouse you are taking them to a Sicily Roof Jawn for dinner.“

“We had our son’s rehearsal dinner here, everything was great . We Had Taylor , who did everything, she was by herself, due to someone calling out . She severed over 30 people from Appetizers to dessert all with a smile . She helped set everything up and was amazing . Great food and atmosphere! “We found this gem of an Italian deli in Ridley Park, less than a mile off the Delaware Expressway.

My husband ordered the “Old World”, a fresh baked roll piled high with meats, cheeses, and Italian spices. I had a sandwich with lightly breaded chicken breast, fresh Mozzarella and roasted red peppers. And yes, it really was that good.

They’re the nicest people. We’ll certainly stop there again, and you should too. You can thank us later.“

It was a Sunday evening and not many establishments were open however we were fortunate Vitale's Italian Bistro was the exception. Warm welcoming staff greeted us, prompt and attentive wait service, and delicious food in abundance! It was a wonderful evening and a fine way in capping off our 10 day east coast road trip!“

“Giumarello’s Restaurant was delicious! The martinis were great. Appetizers: crab stack with mango salsa and avocado or saffron mussels with shrimp, Yumo! Entrees: Miso glazed sea bass or filet with stuffed lobster tail both Devine! Dessert: Chocolate heaven flourless cake and salted carmel creme brulee were heavenly 😋 Our waiter Griffin was wonderful and very knowledgeable, especially since we needed gluten free options. “My niece had her law school graduation party here the other night and the entire family, 21 of us, cannot say enough about the excellent food and service that we received. My elderly mother and I were early when they were still setting up, and they welcomed us with open arms and got us some coffee because it was so rainy and cold. The food was excellent. We had many courses, and my sister-in-law said that they were extremely accommodating and offered many choices at a good price for the menu. The owner was lovely to work with. I cannot say enough about how excellent the food was as was the superb service that we received from the entire team. They were on every need amidst a very busy restaurant while navigating around walkers and people like absolute pros... with a smile on their face the entire time. I sincerely hope that the owner and staff see this review.“

“We stopped in for a bite. The Vegetarian Sandwich & The Chicken Vero Sandwich, both on Vero's bread were outstandingly delicious.“

“Bruno’s has the best pizza for miles around. Although the pizza is good to take away, it’s best enjoyed on premises. The tomato pie is excellent. Their dining service is great and really makes up for the lack of atmosphere in the dining area.

Vegetarian options: Vegans can really enjoy the tomato pie.“
