But nothing prepared me for the pure joy I found at Mazar Afghan. Let me tell you: no rice and meat combo in the world has hit me like this one. The lamb shank leg? Massive, tender, and seasoned like it was kissed by the spice gods. The rice? Fragrant, fluffy, and layered with flavor that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate it. Even my wife—who’s got a sharp palate and isn’t easily impressed—confirmed it’s awesome. (Though she might be side-eyeing my new rice obsession 😅) And the tea with milk? If you order the best, it’s like a warm hug in a cup. Smooth, aromatic, and the perfect finish to a feast that leaves you full but craving more. No short change here. Portions are generous, the hospitality is warm, and the flavors are unforgettable. Just one request to the chef: please don’t jack the price up on me! 😂“

“Mo was SO helpful on a group order for 30 people. My team eats a lot and he made sure we had the perfect amount of food. Everyone was raving about the food. We also had some people with extreme allergies and he ensured us there would be no cross contamination. He really took care of us!“

“Food: A quality is great and generous portions for the price. The kathi rolls are loaded with tons of chicken tikka and still held together well after takeout. Their chicken seekh kebabs are flavorful and you can see them cooking inside the tandoor to get that nice char.

Staff/Service: A+ The owner and staff are great and very nice. We made edits and asked for some sides and they were so generous. Its easy to see the owner still has a passion for what he does and is happy to interact and see repeat customers.

Ambience: It’s meant for a takeout restaurant really so i dont think many ppl dine in.

Parking: Have to park on the street. Not inside a shopping mall with lot“

“Amazing food with friendly customer service. They treat you like a family and understand customer needs. I wanted my mix platter with broccoli and zucchini which is not in their menu, they were able to provide that for me. My son love their buffalo wings dip in sauce and hot wings. Their fried chicken is always fresh and delicious! I also recommend their cheesesteak, always fresh, hot and juicy!

Vegetarian options: They can make you veggie sub, rice with veggies, Mac and cheese and more

Parking: You can park in front of the store for curbside pickup or at the parking lot with many spots to park at.

Kid-friendliness: They have seats where your little one and sit and enjoy their meal, kids friendly customer service.“

“Visiting from Texas and found a Nepali restaurant which what I been craving for! Yummy steam momos, chicken lomein and chicken fried rice. Every bite was so tasty of perfection to my likings. The restaurant is located into a store full with small little restaurants but so worth it. Thank you Sandya for making my food just as similar to the Nepali food I missed in Texas. Highly recommend will be back again :)“

“Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. I had the falafel in a pita and really enjoyed it. The falafel was made to order and well seasoned. I will agree that, compared to other food court options the menu is limited, however it's important to note that Alex's isn't a chain. The small menu allows them to focus on a few things and do them well. It's, in my opinion, becoming rarer to see non-chain options in mall food courts, so I always try them when I find them. I'm so glad I did!“

“I just got food today at King of Gyro because I had a crave for a gyro and decided to go here. When I ordered my food was needed by a friendly worker and the chef did not disappoint. I got a gyro with fries+soda and it came out to around 13 bucks! The gyro was amazing and filled to the brim with chicken. The fries were crispy but needed a little more salt. Overall amazing food and I’ll be here in the upcoming future. The environment isn’t the the best but it is calm and cleanliness is good!“
