Zed's Beer Brewery •
19 N Maple Ave STE A, Marlton - 5.61 miles

“Cute place. Lots of kids so that was a tad bit of a turn off but I believe they were about to have a parade right outside so it was understandable I suppose. A lot of interesting beers… I love they had so many festive beers on tap! I didn’t love all of them but I at least loved the attempt to do several different types of brews and flavors to accentuate Christmas to your taste buds. I hastily made an escape before the parade started!“

Eclipse Brewing Brewery • $
25 E Park Ave, Merchantville - 2.9 miles

“My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves at Eclipse! FIRST OF ALL— The coconut cream is fire. It is the smoothest, most delicious beer I’ve ever had. My husband who doesn’t like any beer likes the peach sour. The locals who support the brewery are so fun and kind. Music nights on Tuesdays are fun too. I highly recommend checking this place out! We will be back.“

Raccoon Taproom, Swedesboro Brewing Company Brewery •
1 Powell Ln, Collingswood - 4.86 miles

“Such a great local taproom for a relaxed afternoon. We brought our own charcuterie board and even a set of dominoes to play, and it felt like the kind of place where you are encouraged to settle in and enjoy your time.

I ordered a beer taster and loved how each pour came with a card and a QR code to scan so you could learn more about what you were drinking. It was a fun and easy way to explore different beers without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

The atmosphere was very laid back and welcoming. It is dog friendly, and there was even a group who brought a baby, which really spoke to how comfortable and community focused the space feels. It was the perfect spot to hang out on a Sunday afternoon.“

2000 Crawford Pl 400 A, Mt Laurel - 3.34 miles

“MOUNT LAUREL: Bout The Hops Brewing is a great microbrewery and leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside! The tap room is cozy with string lights and warm colors and there are about 18 beers/seltzers on tap and have great names like Harry Stouter, Hugh HEFEweizen (Brie’s Mom’s favorite), The Tap Bastard, and the humourous list goes on. There is a TV to watch the game and you can bring your own food. In addition to our visit to their headquarters, we saw them at Downtown Freehold’s Oktoberest event and they recently hosted Yappy Hour featuring $1 off each pint!“

Source Urban Brewery Brewery • $$
1101 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia - 7.59 miles

“Source Urban Brewery, Philadelphia, PA. I hate how much I enjoyed my visit to Source Urban Brewery. Why I wasn’t looking forward to this visit is a story for another time. The young women working this evening were awesomeness. I order the pretzel. It came with beer cheese. I told the young woman how much I loved beer cheese. She said it came with mustard and beer cheese but she could give me 2 beer cheeses. I said, ‘two beer cheese please.’ I have 3 beers each was better than the last. They all had a ton of flavor. They all tasted exactly as they were described. I think they are trying to be a higher end brewery. But, they have a big bar and you never what kind of crowd the Fillmore is going to bring in. Another young woman staffer told me she liked my shirt. If you follow me you know she won the shirt off my back—bonus video; 1. Win the shirt off my back shirt presentation. 2. Bathroom video.“

Mainstay Independent Brewing Company Brewery • $$
901 N Delaware Ave, Philadelphia - 7.63 miles

“If you’re heading to Northern Liberties with kids in tow (and still want a beer), Craft Hall/Mainstay Independent is a solid choice for lunch.

Craft Hall is a massive industrial space that houses Mainstay Independent Brewing Company and feels more like a sports bar than a traditional brewery. Parking in the small front lot is tight but there’s also street parking and a couple of garages just a few blocks away if you’re willing to loop once or twice.

Inside, the vibe is unapologetically industrial: exposed steel, high ceilings, big open room. It’s not warm and cozy or where you go for a quiet pint.

Our visit was a bit chaotic. There’s a large indoor playground (pirate ship) packed with dozens of kids running, climbing, and burning off energy while parents reclaim a sliver of sanity. It’s extremely kid-friendly, and that clearly drives the lunch crowd.

Adults get their own zone at the bar, which helps balance things out. The tables are spacious, the projectors and TVs are plentiful, and the whole setup is perfect for watching a game, hosting a happy hour, or gathering a big group.

Beer-wise, we found the lineup solid but mostly average, with the standout being the Winter Bock. The traditional German-style lager was very malt-forward, roasty and smooth.

Craft Hall isn’t an intimate date-night brewery. It’s loud, lively, and built for volume. But if you’re looking for a kid-friendly brewery experience in Northern Liberties where adults can still grab a solid pint? This place absolutely fills that niche.“
