“Had dinner there last night was so disappointed that they no longer doing the hibachi cooking at your table…over all meal was good (shrimp fried rice was very good) …our server Nicole was gracious & very attentive…would go back but would try something different…“

“Been searching for good japanese restaurant for quite some time. Let me just say that Mikado far exceeded our expectations. From tge appetizers to dinner, it was exceptional. Our server, Michelle, was great. We had tge seared pepper tuna sushi app - so fresh and delicious. My husband had the hibachi with filet and lobster - amazing too. My son had the combo udon noodles - ate every bite! We had the tempura banana dessert - delicious as well as the chocolate mousse cake and coppa cafe. Amy at the front desk was so gracious and sweet. We will definitely be back many times. Give this place a try - you won’t be disappointed!!!“

He carefully checked every dish—from the appetizers to the sushi, chicken teriyaki, and even the sauces—to make sure everything was safe for me. I had the filet mignon and chicken and was barely able to eat everything. “We ordered for pick-up. The food was delicious on the first day. When my boyfriend reheated and ate his food the next day, he said his stomach was bad. I wasn't there to know how it was reheated. I always do it on the stove and he uses the microwave. It was our third time eating here, the two previous were eat-in and we never had stomach issues before. I was fine after I ate and I left the leftover chicken for him.“

To give but one example, I normally don't think of chirashizushi as something special, but the chef made a mini chirashizushi that was absolutely stellar! “Absolutely incredible experience here at Akira. Came on a Tuesday evening and the place was packed! Both sides (regular and hibachi). Our server was so sweet and was so fun with our son. The place is loud so our son fit in just nicely.

Food is absolutely incredible!! The little slivers of ginger were the best I’ve ever had. I just wish it was the coarse sea salt on the edamame instead of table salt.
