“Strolling through town a wanted a little snack to go with my healthy smoothie from earlier. I walked in and was warmly greeted by a cheerful guy. After checking out the menu, I asked him what his favorites were and he made all the tacos sound so delicious. I was kinda of leaning towards a bowl, but after hearing all the taco goodness I grabbed a Cajun shrimp taco to hold me over till later.Turns out the guy I was chatting with was the owner, Todd. Really great to interact with him, super passionate about this place.Service was fast, taco was $6ish, and it was really tasty. I should've grabbed a deal for three, but I'll be back to eat more another day. You should too!“
“Ordered takeout for lunch and we were all delightfully surprised at how delicious it was. Everything was fresh and these wonderful folks even preemptively put our mayo and oil/vinegar on the side so we didn’t end up with soggy sandwiches. We didn’t ask! Now that is clearly someone who cares about their customers and their experience. We will certainly continue to support them and I hope you do too!“
“We stumbled upon this place by chance, and we were so pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and the freshness of what we ordered. We had a wrap and a chicken quesadilla, both of which were served with homemade sauces and were hot and generously portioned. The gentleman who owns the place is awesome, and though it is not fancy, it is a perfect place for a fresh and affordable meal.“
“I’m addicted! The menu is simple, the food is flavorful and well presented. Service is wonderful and great value. Casual setting with beach-y/food truck vibes vs a restaurant-proper. I suspect that this place would have a lot more foot traffic if it were in town near Bloomfield Ave or Watchung, but I’m happy to have it so nearby in Upper Montclair, and I hope they are a long-standing fixture here (have seen a few places coke and go in this spot). The food here stands out miles ahead of a couple of nearby Mexican options, albeit smaller menu.“
“Really good food and atmosphere. Watch out for the automatic tip on the receipt. They didn't include it on Thursday but did on Friday. Usually I tip 20% but when places automatically add 18%, I don't tip extra when places auto tip. They also included a tip line even tho they added an auto tip lol, not falling for that trick.“
“They serve excellent tacos. I like that it gives off street corner tacos like in Mexico but this is obviously indoors. Personally, the red salsa was best. Cuernitos tacos are yum yum yum with lime on top. 100% recommend if you’re thinking taco night.“
“Place is not bad. First time we went was for my wife's birthday. We were excited for Birria tacos. The consome was not bad. My wife enjoyed it. Taco shells are crispy and cheese was just the right amount. Meat was good portion. The place is very small. Its my only complaint. The waitress is good but there's only one in the place so if it's busy it's hard for her to tend to every table but she tries her best. They should add ground beef as part of their meat options. I would recommend this place if you're in a mood for some good tacos.“
“I was looking for a restaurant that serves Mexican food ? due to the face the only other one I been too is like 40 minutes away so we decided to find one closer to home before going to work n honestly I was amazed how nice we were treated and the food was delicious I mean I still full and the serves and cook ask if we would like veggies in are food due to the fact we don't eat meat and the price was cheap so thank you for serving us a delicious meal I will be coming back againVegetarian options: They can make anything Vegan-friendly if you don't eat meat.“
“My husband and I lived in Harrison in 2019-early 2020 and this was our local taco spot. We were obsessed. We moved due to the pandemic and to this day we haven’t found better tacos than these. We compare every taco we ever have to these, hoping to find some that will compete and they never come close.“
“Food is outstanding I've tried everything on the menu my fav is the mushroom taco.. the restaurant is extremely small has 2 small tables I guess it's primarily meant to order and go. Tte last time I was there they were playing reggae music and my food was piping hot and delish as usual“
