“I have always found the food to be of very good quality. They are very consistent in whatever they prepare. Food is ready on time. However, on a recent visit I was very disappointed in one of the four dishes that we ordered. We ordered a fried calamari appetizer and very few pieces were included given the price of the appetizer. Additionally, the presentation was quite poor. For this reason I am dropping my rating one star.“

“Been coming here for over 10 years. No chinese food in the United States even compares, cannot recommend them enough. Every time I get chinese food somewhere else I am disappointed and need to get my fix of Golden Seas. The staff is friendly, super accommodating and always quick and efficient. It's a little hole in the wall spot but that is what makes it so worth it. I especially love their eggrolls, chicken with broccoli and their sautéed udon with chicken. Ps: if you like spicy ASK FOR THE CHILI OIL!!! So good.“

“The sushi here is delicious! The fried rolls are one of the best I’ve had. We got the American Dream Roll, Summer Roll, and Middlesex Roll. All were so good and fresh. The presentation on the plates were so cute too! This is definitely our new sushi spot.“

“Food is good. We ordered 2 different sushi and chicken katsu. One of the sushi was served raw (as most sushi are) and I can't eat them cause I am BF-ing my baby. “I have only ordered delivery here, door dash to be exact. Everything I’ve had here has been absolutely delicious. “This is hands down my favorite local sushi spot. Whether you sit in or order take out, the food is always delicious. My favorite roll is definitely the yellowtail special. It has yellowtail, ikura and avocado. I havent see any other sushi place do this combo before but its def a must try. The ikura here is flavorful and the uni is also fresh! Service is great even when its a little busy. Definitely stop by if youre passing through the area and have a sushi craving.“

“Came here with friends and was surprised to discover a great sushi place with such tasty rolls tucked into a strip mall I have been to countless times.This is no hidden gem to the locals, the restaurant is always crowded, with a line out the door at times. “This afternoon my sister and I visited Sakana Japanese Cuisine. This is a wonderful place, the food is very tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. The Kani salad was delicious. The rolls are fresh and very tasty.For dessert there was ice cream fried in dough. “The food was delicious at Nemo. It's BYO, which keeps costs down. The service was a little slow, even for someone who likes leisurely dinners and doesn't want to be rushed. We felt like we were waiting to see our server several times throughout our dinner. We will go back and try it again, since the food was so good.“

“Sono has always been our go to for delicious fresh sushi. Tonight there was a delay with our pick up....it's lent. We get it - they even gave us 2 free sodas to apologize. Then 2 hours later they send us an apology text. Honesty and apologetic. Now that's a classy move!“

“Took a friend here for their birthday. Shared the spring roll and pepper tuna. The tuna was so fresh and perfectly seasoned. The rolls were just as tasty. My favorite is the beyond roll which is vegan. Had hot house sake that was made the food even tastier. Service was good.“

“I come here at least once a week with my best friends and there are a million reasons for that. Food is absolutely amazing and you can get a ton for a decent price. Service is insanely quick and efficient, they also refill your water like clockwork. Absolutely amazing. My friends and I have tried nearly everything on the menu and nothing ever disappoints. Ordering online too is great!! If I’m ever in the mood for great food at home, I order from here and it comes just as fresh as it would sitting down in the restaurant. “My husband and I went there this weekend for dinner on Friday. The foods was delicious, the staff was super friendly, and the portions were quite large (i was able to eat mine the next day for lunch). I got the steak terriyaki bento box and it was so good. Great local spot!“

An older gentleman came to my door with a smile very friendly. After he handed me the bag he extended his hand for a hand shake and said happy new year. “While it is 5 stars all around, I wish I could give 6 stars for service, the waitress was great, we ordered the clear soup (which was AMAZING), and she counted it as the complimentary soup with my Bento box, which was very nice. My lady relished the fresh and large chicken and shrimp (her signature Hibachi dish), while i salivated over the rare, steakhouse quality portion in the center of my box, accompanied with fresh sushi, dumplings and more. We both took a box home. The place was welcoming, chill and comfortable, and the service, oh, the service... We will be back!“

“Great fried dumplings and excellent egg rolls. This place deserves higher than this rating, (sidenote: Kings is overrated.) Lo mein has lots of veggies. Chow mein was healthy and mellow. Nice and close to Source Brewery. Unassuming location but quality food, definitely would return.“

When I was a little girl, I would so look forward to their INIMITABLE teriyaki dark meat chicken samples, and I spent my first wages ever on an actual meal from this place. It is a time-tested fixture at the Freehold mall, a must-have if you ever work or shop here and still a reliably fast and delicious option for me when I am in the area. I’m pretty sure I’ve been helped by the exact same woman at the front of the line my entire life, and she gives me a big smile every time I see her. I’ve tried teriyaki/bourbon chicken at other malls all over the state, and this is the only one that is not only delicious, but is prepared in way that is not greasy. This is truly the only place I will go for Americanized Chinese food and enjoy it at all. My go-to: 2 sides, 2 entrees - string beans and plantains, double teriyaki chicken. Even post-pandemic, the price is unbeatable for the amount of food you get.“

“This is my go to Chinese spot. Not the best atmospherically but doesn't matter much as I usually get takeout/delivery. The delivery person is always friendly. The menu is a bit unclear but there's many options and the food is always tasty. Large portions for fair prices - especially the combination meals. I'm only referring to the Chinese food as I've never tried their sushi.“

The chef(Jack) was entertaining in the preparation of the dishes and while the atmosphere was celebratory, it did get a bit loud at times with the large amount of children.It is a BYOB establishment for those who would like an adult beverage with dinner.“

“Went on Saturday Sept 9th for a Birthday celebration we go about 6 times a year or more for specials celebrations or just for a good dinner out. I have been going there for about 8 yrs now & total over 30 times or so & never had a bad experience. The food is amazing each & every time & the staff is always great & kind & very friendly. “Waitress was the best. She checked in on us often and made sure that our order was perfect ! I can not believe how incredibly amazing the General Pso Chicken was. Super crispy and the flavor of sauce was amazing. I would go here just for this. Aaannnnd their fried rice has no business being as amazing as it is. I think they have a magician in the kitchen. Sushi was sooooo fresh and the size was great. They didn't skimp on the seafood at all. It was perfectly delicious. Will say the waitress did say we ordered so much and she didn't want us to take left overs because sushi is best enjoyed fresh. lol I think she just wanted to see us again, and we feel the same! Ambiance. Low music playing. Comfortable seats. Decor- little dated but as an 80's kid it felt like home. Not your laser show and DJ kind of venue but it soooo didn't need to be.
