“I had such a wonderful meal here and was really impressed by how fresh everything tasted. The portion sizes were perfect, and the flavors were authentic and savory without being too heavy. The staff were very welcoming and checked in on me a few times to make sure I had everything I needed, which made for a really comfortable dining experience. It is easily one of the best spots I have found for a quick and satisfying dinner, and I am already looking forward to my next visit to try a few more things on the menu.“

We came here on a Saturday night and got a table right away with no waiting. \nIt was a damp, wet, cool, day and some wonton soup was much needed, followed by fried dumplings, a shrimp tempura roll and two pieces of ebi roll. All were good, tasty and hitting the spot.\n\nFor our main course we shared a beef and broccoli and a chicken fried rice. Both dishes were plenty to share and did have extra for take home. \n\nOverall, good quick service, sushi chefs busy, nice menu of Japanese, Thai and Chinese. “First time stopping in for takeout and I left with a lot of respect for this place.

When I walked in it was clear the entire operation was being run by one person. The owner was cooking, handling orders, answering the phone, and managing the counter all at the same time. Her young son was sitting up front doing homework. Every time the doorbell rang, a friendly voice from the kitchen welcomed people in even before she could step out.

There were several customers waiting while I was there and she kept everything moving with calm and professionalism. It was a reminder that behind many small restaurants there is a family simply trying to make it work.

The food was exactly what good Chinese takeout should be. Fresh, hot, and consistent. Sadly that bar is not always met these days, but it was here.

It also made me think about how different every small business is and how hard many of them work just to stay open. When you walk into a place like this, remember it may be a takeout counter to you, but it is also someone’s livelihood and, in this case, part living room and homework station too.

Kudos to the mom who is simultaneously the owner, chef, cashier, and entrepreneur. Keep it up, and maybe let your customers know your name so we can yell hello back to the voice from the kitchen.“

“Mr. Wonton in EHT is by far our favorite Chinese food place. We’ve tried a few other places locally, and nothing really compares as far as the general chicken quality and taste. They also have a better dipping sauce with the steamed dumplings, and they hook you up with a bigger container than the other places would. For as long as we’ve been ordering, we’ve never had a bad dish from here. Five stars! :)“

“Talk about good Asian food and for a good reasonable price that is cheaper than the rest of the Asian restaurants. Truly love their Lunch Special and Combinations for Dinner. Truly recommended their Ice Tea, Pizza Rolls and Vegetables Spring Rolls.“

“Delicious dinner at this huge authentic colorful restaurant offering large portions. The wonton soup was hot, fresh and tasty with four homemade dumplings. Vegetable lo mein was tasty and comforting. We tried the vegetarian Japanese tofu with many mushrooms and greens and the teriyaki steak. All delicious and just what we wanted! The wait staff was friendly and helpful. And the tea was perfect!“
