“First time stopping here. Not much to look at outside but once inside the newly renovated bar is great. It is open, clean and plenty of tv's with multiple games on. Great place to watch sports. It is very loud even when it is not busy. Food was just ok. They make homade chips that are crunchy slices of potatoes with absolutely no flavor. The tuna steak sandwich is a good size of tuna but without flavor and real fishy. The salmon wrap was very good. The waitress was awesome and pleasant.“

“We make a trip to The Village Kitchen every year—both on our way to Cape May, NJ and on the way back—and it never disappoints. The food is consistently outstanding, and the service is just as excellent. This cozy spot is a hidden gem for breakfast and lunch. The chipped beef, in particular, is absolutely outstanding—easily one of the best we’ve had. Highly recommended!“

“We were there for a birthday celebration on Sunday. We were seated so we could see the water. (The scenery of the water is very relaxing!) I would call for reservations but expect to wait. Your reservation will help if there are many walking in to dine. It was jam packed when we arrived-- excellent deal!The food was good and the portions were excellent for 3 courses for 25 dollars on Sunday from 1-4pm. Definitely, have the crabcake and the turkey meal. It was not sliced deli meat! I would suggest you ask your meal be piping hot when it arrives at your table. I got sesame chicken and specified “NOT SPICY” and they even wrote it on my order! and let me tell you, i couldn’t even eat more than a bite. my mouth was immediately on fire. So i didn’t even get to eat my main food, all trash:( So I tried the egg drop soup that i ordered and it was also SO spicy i couldn’t tolerate more than one bite again!!! “Stopped in while spending a long weekend at the shore. Local hot spot for sure as they still had a good crowd despite being off season. The wings are definitely a must as they were well seasoned and a nice size. I had the stuffed flounder while husband had the seafood combination. Everything was tasty and the portion sizes were good.“

“Absolutely love the outdoor space! Interior is spacious, well-lit and beautifully decorated. The beertender, Jamie was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Only had time for one flight, so I'd like to get back to try more. Of the 4 beers that I tried, Manatee Milk was my favorite. My favorite feature of the brewery, and it's outdoor space, is the roll-up windows with bar seating. I see this a lot at breweries in Florida and it's a nice touch. Look forward to visiting again in the future.“

I have dined in 5 Star Restaurants on my vacations & business trips, and all I must state is for being my 1ST Visit to the CRAP TRAP, I plan to make it a weekly location and a priority on my “Schedule”! I have wanted to dine there before, but I can add there parking lot suggested that there was a long wait, When I entered, I was so impressed by the size of the inside accommodation! I must apologize for my velours review, but I truly feel that this restaurant is a “GEM”“

I have to say im a bit of a critic because we have family in Maine and have tasted all ends of the spectrum of lobster rolls from amazing to terrible and this place makes a great Lobster rolls with a spot on price comparable to Maine and other restaurants in the area. The staff member we dealt with was super nice I wish I would have got his name, but I do know he was from Jersey and had great knowledge knew the product well. We had 2 Connecticut rolls and they were great. I would say this place is worth checking out. Theres only outdoor seating, but you can easily walk around waterside and find a spot to kick back and enjoy or walk out enjoy their outdoor seating and it will complement their lobster rolls very well. They also have nice little selection of beers/beverages and a whole N/A fridge too.“

“I went on a weekend trip to the shore and needed to go to Walmart to grab a few things. I decided to get some sushi from the nearest location and was met with one of the best experiences I’ve had at a sushi restaurant.

The service itself was quick, taking only 5~ minutes to complete my entire order. The food was fresh, generously portioned, and it only cost us $20 for two rolls, an appetizer, salad and soup. The meal ended up being so good that I drove 25 minutes that same day to taste it again. All the employees had a big smile on their faces when we walked back in, and I left with a 10% coupon if we decided to go again.

“We have been here several times. The food is delicious. Spouse has gluten allergy and the staff is EXTREMELY careful and hand deliver her meal separately. She has NEVER had an issue. Mac and cheese and pulled pork is her favorite. Tonight a vacationing family was dining in. A young man ordered a sandwich that had the kitchen sink on it. It was fun to watch him try eating it. He was 1/2 way done before we left. But was slowing down. I hope he made it. The staff is always top notch and it’s a fun place to relax and have great food. Try them. You won’t be disappointed.“
