I sat at the bar and paired it with a blond beer, which I don't typically drink, and it was a surprisingly great combination. Overall, Maloneys on Main is a great spot for a tasty meal and drinks.“
“I came here on a Sunday to enjoy a birthday brunch with my family and had a great experience. All the food was delicious, (the pernil tostada is a must have!) and the mimosa pitcher was a great deal for the table. Our waitress was very friendly and did a great job checking in with us during our meal and making sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be back to enjoy another weekend brunch.“
“MJ's is great place to go for happy hour. It's also not to be missed during the summer. Their outdoor dining setup is absolutely amazing. Right on the lake, they have plenty of outdoor seating and the background is so nice! The food in and of itself is pretty basic. This is not where the foodies and 5 star eaters go. However, for a nice lunch or happy hour drinks, this place does the trick! Typical bar food, some sushi options and sugary cocktails. The service is always decent and the place is huge so the waits are never very long. They also have banquet halls so you will often see weddings, private parties etc which can be nice if you like to people watch. They also have a DJ on weekend nights which can be nice but annoying if you are just coming for dinner. Not a date spot, but a great spot for a casual hang.“
“Chose to go here at random and were pleasantly surprised. The specials were listed on a board as soon as you walked in. We were seated quickly and our server was attentive and efficient. We had the appetizer special of stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat and it could have been an entree. So much crabmeat in the stuffing. My girlfriend had the stuffed filet of sole and had a lot of stuffing in them as well, fresh carrots, tater tots, and chicken noodle soup (homemade). I had the pork and figs which had sauteed spinach and fig chunks in marsala sauce over pork medallions. I chose the New England clam chowder which was also homemade. It had whole clams in it, that were cooked perfectly and had no grit in them. Everything was absolutely delicious. We will go back there again. Highly recommended.“

And I have to add to the chorus - the Voodoo Shrimp really IS that good! Everyone who orders the pork chop special always loves it, I love the crawfish étouffée, and the escargot was very good too. “I visited the Old Bermuda Inn for the first time. I have always noticed it from the 440 Staten Island and thought it was beautiful especially when it is lit up at night. I was excited to go. I parked my own car. The front of the venue was beautiful. The school I work for hosted an event on the first floor of over 300 people and over 200 baskets. Seating was comfortable, the tables were beautiful and I was near the bar. Our waitress was on point. I ate the salad with garlic bread, penne vodka and the salmon. My husband got the Chicken Marsala. Many of my coworkers had the stake. They all came with a veggie melody and roasted potatoes. All of the food was delicious. My ultimate favorite was the dessert. It was a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a brownie. I enjoyed it so much that I took the person next to me dessert too bc they were busy dancing and it was melting. The only thing I wished for was a cup of coffee.My family has two events planned there soon. I am looking forward to going back!“

“Had my daughters first birthday party here after looking at multiple other restaurants. This restaurant had the nicest party room and the food was delicious. The day of the party, I was able to come early to decorate and set up. The owner and his family were very kind and helped set up the room and accommodated our requests.They continually checked in throughout the event to make sure we were happy and if we needed anything. The waitresses made sure we had enough food and the kids were all given kids meals which they loved. My guests raved about the chicken francese and baked clams.It was a great day and I felt very at peace knowing how helpful staff was and didn't have to worry about the party going smoothly. “I had to stop by to write this review! I ordered the honey garlic and the honey buffalo chicken wings for the Super Bowl and boy I wasn’t disappointed!!! It was finger licking good and I was so surprised that we had no left overs and our guest was inquiring about this place because it was so good. The wings were cooked to perfection, not hard or burnt under the sauce just a nice crisp that made everything so enjoyable. The owner was super sweet and the round tray that she put everything in was very professional. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some more food on her menu along with the wings. However, there is completely different side entrance on the other side of the building that opens up to a hidden restaurant. The decor is so cute. The cannoli is some of the best cream you will taste around ! I do wish they had more than just the cannoli and cheesecake for dessert but with everything else being so perfect I really cannot complain. Everything here is fresh . Many different types of sauces not just your usual run of the mill Italian restaurant offering. It helps that they are from Italy and the accent is just perfection. It is like an added flavoring to your food. Come and sit in the restaurant the owner comes by and says hello. You will feel like family by no time. Also, if you are just in the mood to have pizza, I still suggest why not sitting in the restaurant and ordering a large pie or even better yet the grandma pie it is the best I have ever had and I have worked everywhere including NYC. They only had one IPA: Fiddlehead, which I don't love. And the Margarita was $14 and not very good. I was tempted to deduct a star because of the drinks, but the bartenders were great, so I decided not to. We sat at the bar, which I prefer. My wife was not completely comfortable on the chair. My complaints are meant to be suggestions. I will be back.“
