“It's inside a very nice little locals bar, but definitely welcoming to everyone. Staff and patrons are very nice. They have a small selection of beer but good choices, seemed to have decent liquor selection as well. They also have a little section to purchase for home. We got a couple voodoo rangers, which is our regular anyway, so it was nice to see it on tap. We ordered the salt n vinegar fries and they were ??? can't wait to go back and try other stuff. The whole menu sounded delicious and the glorious aromas from the kitchen was tempting us to order. We live just up the road and would pass this place all the time, and I'm glad we stopped in. “What an outstanding hidden gem! The front of the plaza is for the pizzeria. However, there is completely different side entrance on the other side of the building that opens up to a hidden restaurant. The decor is so cute. The service is authentic and amazing and the food is out of this world and moderately priced. Did I mention it's BYOB?! This is absolutely the place to eat if you want Italian food in this area. The cannoli is some of the best cream you will taste around ! I do wish they had more than just the cannoli and cheesecake for dessert but with everything else being so perfect I really cannot complain. Everything here is fresh . Many different types of sauces not just your usual run of the mill Italian restaurant offering. It helps that they are from Italy and the accent is just perfection. It is like an added flavoring to your food. Come and sit in the restaurant the owner comes by and says hello. You will feel like family by no time. The food is absolutely incredible, the restaurant is beautiful and welcoming with a really cool open kitchen and chef's table, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my party had a great night. And I have to add to the chorus - the Voodoo Shrimp really IS that good! Everyone who orders the pork chop special always loves it, I love the crawfish étouffée, and the escargot was very good too. “I visited the Old Bermuda Inn for the first time. I have always noticed it from the 440 Staten Island and thought it was beautiful especially when it is lit up at night. I was excited to go. I parked my own car. The front of the venue was beautiful. The school I work for hosted an event on the first floor of over 300 people and over 200 baskets. Seating was comfortable, the tables were beautiful and I was near the bar. Our waitress was on point. I ate the salad with garlic bread, penne vodka and the salmon. My husband got the Chicken Marsala. Many of my coworkers had the stake. They all came with a veggie melody and roasted potatoes. All of the food was delicious. My ultimate favorite was the dessert. It was a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a brownie. I enjoyed it so much that I took the person next to me dessert too bc they were busy dancing and it was melting. It was perfectly made and tasty, with crunchy well done edges.It was crowded when we arrived (noon), but plenty of seating after 1pm.The diner is not wheelchair accessible, but there is an outdoor space that may be accessible in the warm months (outdoor space was closed today). “Had my daughters first birthday party here after looking at multiple other restaurants. This restaurant had the nicest party room and the food was delicious. The day of the party, I was able to come early to decorate and set up. The owner and his family were very kind and helped set up the room and accommodated our requests.They continually checked in throughout the event to make sure we were happy and if we needed anything. The waitresses made sure we had enough food and the kids were all given kids meals which they loved. My guests raved about the chicken francese and baked clams.It was a great day and I felt very at peace knowing how helpful staff was and didn't have to worry about the party going smoothly. “Even though I'm a native Staten Islander, I never really go to eat on this side of the Island. This place is an old school style restaurant and I heard good things about it, so at 59 years old I visited there on September 16, 2023 with my wife and another couple for the first time. We all loved the food. The menu is so big it reminds me of a diner menu but classier and we all loved our entrees and appetizers. The young waitress we had was adorable, efficient, professional and attentive. In short, we will definitely be going back to Canlons and highly recommend it to our friends and family.“

It was finger licking good and I was so surprised that we had no left overs and our guest was inquiring about this place because it was so good.
