“The other day, I was at home and wanted a cup of coffee. I quickly realized that I had various coffees at home that I have accumulated over the years, with all different ways to make them as well as various syrups to complete them to my own standard of perfection. So why search online for a coffee shop? I quickly realized what I was looking for…. I didn’t just want a cup of coffee. I wanted to experience a cup of coffee in a place where I felt at home away from home; an experience so rare but not impossible to create I believed, if only some business were to care and even value creating such an experience for the coffee drinker.I sighed and did a Google search, while resisting the temptation to think that I might be an outdated fool for even thinking such a place might exist. I decided to give this place a try, not abandoning all hope just yet.What I discovered was a place with a high ceiling and big bay windows facing the street. I was greeted with a smile as I approached the counter and felt like I was “seen.” The vibe was a feeling like I had been invited over to a familar stranger’s place to relax and just be. Nothing forced, nothing fake, and nothing artificial. As I enjoyed my delicious cup of coffee I observed that just about every single customer that walked in was greeted by name and even one was greeted by his last name: “Mister” so and so. Wow.A place such as this, is what humanity craves. A place where the perfect environment is created that can help man to reset his interior life in such a way that he can begin to “see again.” This place for me is more than good coffee. The coffee is an excuse to be able to become whole again by unplugging and just being home, in somebody else’s home where hospitality, quiet, and good vibes reign supreme and in a beautiful place. I knew I wasn’t crazy in believing that a place like this should/could exist and I found it. Thank you.“
“Stopped in the other day with 2 others. All of us were very happy with our lattes which isn’t easy to do. Thankfully, we grabbed some of their fresh beans also and I get to have some delicious coffee at home. Will definitely be returning.“
“First thing, it was sooo refreshing to speak to somebody so knowledgeable about the roasts and flavor profiles. I bought some Brazilian beans . Young man told me the roast was medium and on the darker side of medium. This was great. The beans were dark but once I got home and made a cup I realized the roast was very good. I really appreciated the info given as I get very agitated when workers at roasteries and specialty coffee shops can't answer simple questions about their products. This Brazilian is not the best I've had but is very good and at a great price. Will definitely be back to try some more roasts for sure. Love an informed workforce. Nice variety of single origin and blends also.“
“I called Copacabana in advance to notify that I was ordering 3 dozen bagels for a corporate event. I went into Copacabana the next day and the food was bagged and ready for me! Plus he gave me a courtesy call.Service was great and staff was friendly.“
“Boxwood is amazingly spacious, warmly lit, and with comfortable seating ranging in tables, high top tables and bar stools, and cozy choices at the windowfront. The drink menu is creative with seasonal specials as well a milieu of regular caffeine requests. I opted for an iced vanilla cinnamon latte. Eventhough the weather is getting chilly, it's impossible for me to transition to hot coffee just yet so no judgement, thank you! Espresso was quality and the tres leches donut was a dream. To balance, I split a turkey and cheese croissant with my partner. It was brought warm, cheesy melted, was especially comforting. Service was stealth and kind. They took the order thoughtfully and my items were ready in less than 5 minutes. All came deliciously prepared. There was decent seating while people were studying and chatting, a great space to rest and relax with good seating for those who are disabled or in chronic pain too. My visit was practically perfect, but the prices are steep with $6+ for a small latte. If you need any coffee accountrements like filters, pour over materials, fredh espresso beans, this is also a great spot.“
“Since Amazon took over Whole Foods the prices have become more reasonable. My Wife is sensitive to some artificial ingredients, I can find organic and all natural foods here, I love their baking section I can get cake mixes and frostings that have no artificial ingredients.
