“I was passing by and craving some halal food, so I decided to stop here and tried the mixed-over-rice platter. The food was absolutely delicious. The place is very clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this spot for family and friends.“

“We ordered the mixed combo platter and a beef burger, and both were excellent. The platter had a solid variety — everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The beef burger was juicy, full of flavor, and honestly better than what you'd get at a lot of big-name spots. This was the best chicken I have ever had.

“I came in and ordered a Dhoom chicken sandwich and some fried chicken and I noticed they had biryani. In my twenty-two years of living I have never seen biryani on the menu of any halal platter/chicken shack place so I gave it a try expecting it to be mid. They are on par with a few of the restaurants in the area with that biryani and it's actually pretty cheap too at 12 bucks. They put a fair amount of meat in there too, like three pieces with a lot of rice. The Dhoom chicken sandwich was actually fresh and had some good toppings (onions, tomatoes) with tasty sauce. The fried chicken was a little greasy though. Even though Piscataway and NB are full of halal places if you're looking for something unique try these guys.“

“Jersey Boys Kitchen is a typical halal place with some extra offerings. I had the chicken platter on my visit and also ordered a buffalo chicken slice. The slice was good, but it was not as spicy as other buffalo chicken slices that I've had before. The chicken platter was good. The chicken itself was a bit dry and when tasted without the white sauce was somewhat bland. All together the platter tasted very good and the portion was as you would expect from a halal place—big. The service was quick and easy. There wasn't a memorable interaction, but my food came out quick and was packed correctly with utensils. “I came here specifically for the HalwaPuri this morning, and it absolutely did not disappoint! There is nothing like a traditional breakfast to start the day right. The Puri was perfectly fluffy, light, and not too oily—just the way it should be.
The star of the show for me was the balance between the sweet and savory.

The Halwa had the perfect level of sweetness and a great texture, while the ChanaMasala (chickpea curry) and the potato bhaji had that authentic, spicy kick that makes #DesiFood so addictive. Mixing the sweet halwa with the spicy gravy on a piece of hot puri is a total #Foodie dream!“

I wanted my mix platter with broccoli and zucchini which is not in their menu, they were able to provide that for me. My son love their buffalo wings dip in sauce and hot wings. Their fried chicken is always fresh and delicious! I also recommend their cheesesteak, always fresh, hot and juicy!

Parking: You can park in front of the store for curbside pickup or at the parking lot with many spots to park at.

“Best waffles I’ve ever had. Not sure what they put in the batter but I’ve never had a waffle that tastes as good as the ones here.

All the other breakfast sandwiches are also really good, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ve only had their breakfast so I can’t comment on their other food.

I’d mostly recommend takeout here, yes there is a seating area but it’s kind of small.

“After a tasty round of appetizers including tangy baked Fava beans, creamy smooth hummus, baba ghanoush and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside falafel, we feasted on two lamb dishes, one of which was perfectly grilled, and an order of couscous with vegetables. I still remember today how great everything tasted. Service was friendly and efficient and the decor included lamps and accessories imported from Morocco. Portions were generous and they provide containers for the leftovers. You can only eat so much! Highly recommended.“
