“Jay the chef was extremely helpful. Sam is also very nice to us. They recently opened a lunch buffet (see photos) which was delicious. We also ordered to go since evenings usually have lots of people coming to eat. I highly recommend eating here. The Naan is great and I love the Tiki Masala. There are a lot of Veg options here.“

“We were a group of four and we ordered 6 dishes and coffee. The ghee roast dosa, vadai, kuzhi paniyaram and coffee were top notch. The puri of the chole puri was also very good but the flavor of the chole accompaniment was average. The onion rawa dosa was not crisp as we would expect. The onion pakoras were not good and almost inedible - the texture was very dry and the flavor not good either. Apart from these two dishes, the rest of the meal was very authentic and enjoyable. And the experience was made even better by the Service provided by Sai. He was so pleasant and helpful. The restaurant looks very clean, airy and inviting. Highly recommend.“

We were pleasantly surprised when we found that they offer lunch buffets on Wed and Thu, and unlike some other buffet places their buffet food does not taste anything like mass produced. Great spread also! And because we were a big group who had made advanced reservations, they even catered to our dietary restrictions and preferences. Everything about this place is amazing, the food quality, the service (very courteous staff) and the ambience! “Last month I asked for recommendations for an Indian restaurant that had great vegan dishes. Clove Garden Garwood was highly recommended. I order 4 vegan dishes from their website tonight. I noted I was vegan online. I had also ordered Naan, (which I didn’t know contained dairy.) The owner took the time to call me and let me know it’s not vegan and made us Roti instead. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! Rich, delicious, authentic … best meal I’ve ever had. And the employees were incredibly nice. Looking forward to trying the other vegan dishes next week!! “I went here this past Saturday as my girlfriend as we had a craving for South Indian Cuisine. We usually frequent some of the other Tamil Inspired Restaurants near Edison but wanted to try a new one for a change. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed as the experience thoroughly exceeded our expectations and was absolutely delicious. The owner of the restaurant was so gracious and explained to us the concept behind Thali and the best way to go about eating it. The Dosa was one of the best that I have ever had and the Chai tea was fresh and fragrant. What made the food at this restaurant stand out was, just the balance of flavors that permeated our senses. Sometimes, I find that with Dosa preparation, the flavors with the Masala filling can often be heavy onion or coriander flavor, but this was perfectly balanced; a little spicy, a little onion with the perfect amount of butter. The Thali was absolutely delicious and completely satisfying but not for the feint of heart from a portion standpoint, since there is a lot of food served. It doesn't look like a lot but it is; definitely enought for 2 people. Oh yes, the rice served with the Thali was the lightest, fluffiest basmati that I have ever tasted, as light as popcorn.....if only I could make it at home like this.....So if you are in the area or want a new South Indian place to try, go for it, you are in for a real treat.Kid-friendliness: They have some great and fun Indian Options especially for the little ones.“

She helped us create our own soul-satisfying meals, and she was so friendly. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing time (oops!), and Anita had already started closing up.
