“The first time I visited here was about 2 years ago. Incredible BBQ and Pickles. The Management and Staff are incredible, the BBQ, delicious. I lived in Kansas City (BBQ Capitol of the World), and in Florida for years. This restaurant would still be great anywhere because they have mastered not only a great product, but the staff and management have also mastered incredible Customers Service. It's been rated the best BBQ in NJ for several years. I would argue one of the best BBQ restaurants in the USA.“

“I went to Dave's for the first time yesterday 7/5. We ordered through the kiosk.The service was fast, friendly and efficient. Even though it was very busy. I got the x men box. The food was good. I got the mild chicken slider. Mild was the right amount of heat for me. Hot but not to hot. One thing I'll note, each meal does not come with a drink. This is very puzzling. Other than that, we will definitely be back.“

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. “Taco Empreso is number one in all NJ & NY my absolute favorite spot. Not only is the food top tier but the drinks are amazing too. The piña colada is my favorite, the churros are delicious, and the tacos with mango are a must try. Even though the place is always packed, they’re always fast, and that says a lot you can tell everything is made fresh. The customer service is excellent, and Joanna is wonderful. She always makes sure my family and I feel satisfied every time we go. Taco Empreso, truly the best.“

“daFilippo's is a hidden gem of a restaurant that has been my family's special occasion standard for many year's. The Northern Italian menu which changes to focus on only the freshest ingredients has a little Swiss influence and is presented with an artistic touch and personal care. Last evening I hosted sixteen business associates in the back room which has an iron gate for privacy. Filippo presented a five course meal which blew everyone away followed by him playing a few songs on the Piano. The Chicken or Cod dishes were pan seared to perfection. daFilippo's is a BYOB restaurant which I Love. My wife remarked how clean the restrooms are kept. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. In closing, if you are looking for a family owned, unique restaurant where the owner chef touches every plate to ensure perfection then this is the place to make a reservation.“

They do take a long time to prepare, but just a little bit of recyclable packaging, the fresh clean air in the space, and the absolutely beautiful presentation of the drinks really make it feel like a special visit. “Went to Fresh Tiki Bar in Somerville for ice cream and wow, did not disappoint. It’s rich and creamy, you can just tell it’s made with good ingredients, not the cheap stuff. Not overly sweet either, which I loved. The tropical flavors were a fun twist, definitely not your average ice cream shop. Portions were generous too, no complaints there. Staff was super friendly and fast. Great little spot for a hot day, already thinking about my next visit. If you’re around Somerville and want something sweet, this is the move.“

I didn’t try the jerk chicken, but my husband did and he enjoyed them. The garlic chicken and shrimp are both so good The cave sauce is so yummy!!! It’s perfect everytime. literally my only complaint is that I want more caveman sauce!“

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. I’m still dreaming of the delicious ice cream that was the cherry on top of a great experience.“

“Went to Flounder Brewing Co. on April 17 for a live show and was genuinely blown away. The venue strikes a perfect balance between intimate and energetic. You are close enough to really feel the music, but there’s still plenty of room to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and efficient, and the whole place had a welcoming, unpretentious vibe that made it easy to settle in. Of course, the beer lineup didn’t disappoint either, solid variety and quality across the board.
If you’re looking for a spot that combines great live music with excellent craft beer, this is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back“

“I had an amazing experience dining here tonight. My boyfriend & I wanted to explore Vietnamese cuisine. I’m vegan & loved that they had multiple options for me. We ordered steamed vegetable dumplings to start. Fresh ingredients and the perfect starter to a great meal. The Thai milk tea was outstanding. Not too sweet yet creamy and addictive. The staff directed me towards the lemongrass pho with vegetables and tofu. It was out of this world! The lemongrass flavor was rich and comforting. My boyfriend ordered the Bánh mì. It was sweet and savory - the perfect balance. The baguette was fresh and the meat was very seasoned and well cooked. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Andy. You can tell he’s passionate about his restaurant and customers. I said I added too much chili oil to my broth (rookie mistake - it’s very spicy!) and he was kind enough to add more broth to my leftovers to lessen the heat. He was accommodating, friendly and kind. We can’t wait to explore the whole menu. Highly recommended!“

“Great coffee shop! Everything is organic in the shop. Love their cold brew Shandy, which you can customize with their various organic syrups throughout the entire year.
