Michael is an amazing singer / guitarist and I highly suggest going to Portside to see him and have some fantastic food!“

“my husband and I have been coming to mjs for years whether it's for a lunch date or dinner with our kids MJS never disappoints. the food is always on point, no matter what we get it is always delicious. a few top favorites chicken Italiano sandwich, their homemade thousand island dressing for salads is out of this world, french dip is the best i've ever had. ahi tuna app to dye for! if ur lucky enough to get Emma as your server or Bartender you will not be disappointed she is always so personable attentive knows the menu really well and makes a mean expresso martini! she treats our kids like gold and keeps them entertained. Mjs is a well oiled machine run by the best manager I've ever seen. Dyan's attention to detail and making the place feel so welcoming and having everything that comes out of the kitchen on point she makes sure the servers and bartenders are very well trained. if she's there working she is always there greeting the guests and helping the staff make sure every guest has an amazing experience.She will also help you throw a sweet party and works with you to keep the price within your budget while giving you the best bang for your buck. she does an amazing job transforming the dining area into a great party space. “I was here when they first opened. it was not really "for me". Recently tried it again and loved it. I am vegetarian and my friend is vegan. we found options. Really enjoyed the eggplant sandwich. Would love more options (saw on one of the burger challenges a portobello on a burger, so loose the beef and just do the portobello) then I would definitely be there more often. Plan to check out the events that they have in the winter. So nice to have a quality and nice place locally to go out to at night.“

He took the whole crew to Murphy’s Tavern with the promise that they’d get a taste of a local legend: a good old-fashioned speakeasy tucked away in the basement of a house, right in the heart of a residential neighborhood. “The food is fantastic! I especially love the fried pickles. The nachos were great and the burgers were delicious. I had the pleasure of attending an open mic night and catching live music on another night, which made for a great place to hang out.
However, the pours in mixed drinks are inconsistent. I got the rum bucket one night, got pleasantly drunk off of just one, got the same thing the next time I got there and barely felt tipsy off of two of them :/ I had the same experience another time with a different cocktail--one of them I could taste the alcohol and I liked it, I ordered the same one again and it had very little alcohol in it.“

“Located on the Shrewsbury River the view is amazing, offers outdoor seating and indoor with views. Food is also great with a large variety from apps, pizza, seafood to steak! My go to place, unfortunately no reservations but big indoor bar and outdoor bar in season.“

“Recently came to perform at the drag brunch for Chixx in Sweethearts Cabaret, nothing short of fantastic and stunning. The owners were so incredibly respectful, they provided such a safe space for performers to get ready and relax between sets, aswell as bringing such a fantastic and fun environment (and tasty drinks and food might i add)! i can’t wait to come back to either perform or just watch the shows here, i highly recommend you come if you ever have the chance 🫶🏻“
