“This is not our usual place. Either is the one across the street, which we ordered the day before and we’re extremely disappointed to the point that we wanted Chinese again the following night and we chose Golden Jade. Flat-out great food here and I knew it because it’s family run and everyone was friendly. You can tell they take pride in their cooking. We had fried dumplings which would great - they give you 8 and my only critique is they need more filling but the taste is great. The house lomein and house fried rice were outstanding. Fresh and not over sauced. The chicken and broccoli and the general tso chicken were what you expect in the taste department and we’re done very well. Their egg rolls were tasty. The highlight though was the boneless spareribs. So many places get this wrong - these were the best I’ve had in the area even topping my usual place. They had the right amount of glaze, weren’t tough and were made completely using rib meat. Sweet, salty, and easy to chew. This place didn’t disappoint and if it’s a battle between Golden Jade or the one across the street in the junction, Golden Jade is easily the winner.“

“I ordered dragon phoenix, vegetable lo mein, and sesame wonton, and they were all so delicious with the sesame wonton being so flavorful and the jumbo shrimp from the dragon phoenix taste so fresh and the chicken with white meat tastes so juicy and crunchy with great flavor
Vegetarian options: Veg lo mein and mix veg are both really good“
“The foods are ok, but really really cheap. Lunch special is only 7-8 dollar, which includes 1 main dish, rice (fried rices doesn’t cost extra!), and 1 soup or 1 big spring roll. I haven’t see that good deal in the US since 2016.The only downside is its irregular opening schedule, sometimes they open and sometimes not, despite it being the same week day and the same time.Too bad I don’t live around there anymore or I will go there everyday!“

“The food here is delicious. I walked in place my order, and paid. 10 minutes later food was ready. Very good and friendly Chinese food restaurant. This will be a keeper on my gps, when I come always to visit this area. Try it out. You will enjoy the food here.“

“I love this place, authentic Taiwanese food only 10 minutes away. Take out only, have come here many times. The beef noodle soup is fantastic, both the spicy braised beef soup and “Vietnamese style”. The pickled and thickened soups are very good as well. San Bei Ji (Three Cup Chicken) is one of my favorite dishes and the version here is pretty good. The prices are very reasonable. Yes, the food is sold out the back of a bowling alley. Don’t mind that, it’s great takeout and I’m glad they’ve stayed open after the pandemic. Hours posted on Google are off - I think they open at 5 pm.“

“The perfect example of you can't judge a book by it's cover. The whole bowling center and parking lot that this restaurant is attached to looks like it was abandoned probably 20 years ago. From the outside, you would not think that any business was still running here. The restaurant has black tinted windows that you can't see inside, so it look dark and closed. The entrance to the blowing alley looks like it was chained up and closed. Both are more than open, but are great. The bowling alley is modern inside and well lit. The restaurant says "China Palace" but it's actually authentic Taiwanese food. Everything from oyster omelets, to meat cup cake, thick soup with vermicelli, to braised pork over rice dishes. Because of the pandemic ongoing, they are only doing takeout at the moment, but it's worth the effort to get there. Wherever GPS guides you, take it, because it's not leading you to an abandoned alley, it's actually very much alive. The prices were on the slightly higher side, not overly expensive, but worth the extra price for the authentic taste. I am only not giving five stars because it's not eat in, and because the decor of the interior, unlike the bowling alley, is stuck in very much 1970's decor. When we have a chance to eat in, will update this, but for now, 5 stars on the food, brought down one star only because could not eat in.“

“Best lo mein in the area. I get mine with roast pork. This was my secondary place after House of Chong, also in Middletown, which has unfortunately been lacking lately. Tai Hing just moved up to number one. They are cleverly closed on Tuesdays instead of Mondays, since so many restaurants are closed then. The prices are also really fair and a good value. I’ll get a picture next time, I scarfed it all down too quickly LOL.“
