“Excellent food and outstanding staff. Our server was Jen and she couldn’t have been nicer. My nephew, Max Clayton, is performing in White Christmas at the Papermill. We were a group of 10 from NH looking for a place for dinner before the show. Max raved about the food at the Millburn Standard and recommended we go there. The staff was friendly, very accommodating to our large party (we did call for reservations, but they don’t take them) and the food was excellent (get the nachos!) They were just as nice when we came back after the play just to sit and have drinks. I feel like they went out of their way to accommodate us and we are all most appreciative. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Truthfully, they might be the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. It’s definitely the best mozzarella I’ve ever eaten. Everyone that works there is always super friendly. And they don’t mess around. Once you order, no matter the size of your order. It gets made quickly and consistent every time. Also, my hats off to those mini pizzas they make. Delicious! Don’t change a thing. This is the gold standard, there is nothing comparable around”

“Do not patronize this restaurant . I had a $14.00 balance of a gift card that we spent $126.00 on NewYears Eve. $14.00 balance. After ordering a sandwich I was told that the card was invalid. Are you kidding? Do you think I gave you a invalid card? Is it worth losing 2 customers and all the people we know telling them what kind of fools you are? Is it worth it? Keep your sandwich. Dummies. Did I mention the owner used profanity towards us? Shame on you sir.”

“We used to come here on a weekly basis pre-Covid. Loved the food, but didn't like the service and felt the wait staff was rude.

Recently we had dinner here a few times and something has changed. The decor has been updated as has the menu and the wait staff is much, much better. In fact, they recognize us as former customers and are always happy to see us. We have now returned to coming here more regularly as the food is very good.

Sakura has a parking lot as well as options to park on the street. We never wait when we come here and it's BYOB, so we enjoy bringing our own selection of sake or wines.

Nice varied menu with lots of choices. Our favorites are chirashi sushi, age dashi tofu, all their special rolls are wonderful and my all-time favorite appetizer which is large enough to be an entree - Summer Garden.”

“I'm so grateful that the original owners are back. I take the train to NY weekly, and get my morning breakfast and sometimes my lunch. Coffee is fresh, many choices for bagels and the fillings. The sandwiches are amazing. More so by the newest worker AJ. His sandwiches are the best and almost looks too good to eat. I was not happy with the previous owner, but I'm glad once again. “Nice place. Service wasn't great. We had a new waiter, and he was not the greatest. He didn't pay attention to what we ordered, kept reminding him when we came back to the table of the items we ask for, nor the 1st or 2nd time, but the 3rd time. The atmosphere and food experience kind of override the service. I will definitely go back, but make sure I have someone more attentive and experienced.”

“I get poke here after all my afternoon hikes and it’s definitely one of the best in NJ. Ingredients taste fresh and the portions are fair and filling. Theres so many different combinations. You get up to 2 protein, 5 topping, 3 crunchy toppings, and 2 sauce. Everying else is a bit extra. Really yummy and I’ll continue to eat here”

“Love their Classic Tonkatsu Ramen. The broth is so tasty and has a creamy consistency. Noodles have nice bite and maintain their chewy consistency even with delivery. They separate the soup and noodles so that the noodles don’t turn to mush for delivery. The chicken katsu bao buns are also delicious.”
