“Yes, yes, yes!! My favorite taco truck from Lakewood now has a home in Brick! Situated between Napa Auto Parts and KFC is Chilango Taco Loco: a brightly colored taco truck with ample parking in a large gravel lot. Inside that truck you'll find friendly and helpful people, and some of the best tacos in the area. For those who haven't ever had them; authentic tacos are typically two corn tortillas (smaller in size), topped with a choice of meat, and garnished with onion and cilantro. Lime is served alongside, meant to be squeezed atop your tacos, with flavorful spicy taco sauces to drizzle if you choose, as well. The result is a wonderfully savory, fresh, and earthy bite - all at once. The tacos here are absolutely *piled* with meat, and perfectly cooked. Two tacos usually serves as a rather filling lunch, and three would be an outright feast, at least in my opinion.A neat note, they sell quesabirria tacos here! These are sort of "meat quesadillas" (here they use the barbacoa) with a melty cheese, fried on the griddle, and served with a flavorful soup to dip them in. Also to uh, eat - seriously, their lamb consome is delicious. Other favorites are the al pastor (marinated pork with pineapple), carnitas (shredded pork), and barbacoa (lamb), although I've not had anything I've disliked. One final thing to note; as of this review, they are cash or Venmo only. Just something to keep in mind - hit an ATM before visiting.(Quick update: I'm not sure if this truck is here permenantly or not - the last 2-3 weeks, this location has been an empty lot without a truck. Facebook hasn't been updated since August, so I'm not sure what's happened)“
“This place has been here and owned by the same guy for years! Used to (and still do) get their breakfast sandwiches since I was a kid. Never had an issue with them at all. Their staff treats everyone with respect and they are always kind! Food is great, really convenient one stop shop!“
“Been going here since the 80s. To be honest I stopped getting round pizzas from them in the late 2000s because they dropped off....but not lately. Wow...have they returned to their 1980s form. The round pizzas are super soft with chewy crust and tons of sauce. S&J is once again the best pizza place in NJ. Been going there for months now and every pizza I get is PERFRCT.“
