“Haven't set foot inside Docks since 2004 for no other reason than it's a little out of the way from home and I'm not much of a drinker. I've been working in the area again for about a year and wanted to find a local spot to go with some coworkers and figured since it was close, why not try Docks. I happened across a picture of one of their burgers and had to try one since having my gallbladder removed and being able to once again enjoy the occasional bacon cheeseburger. Stopped there tonight with a coworker, got the Houston Burger and let me tell you... it was incredible. Burger was well seasoned and juicy (even though I always order well done) and the bacon was top quality. The prices were fantastic and my coworker said they had one of the best Guinness draughts he's had in a long time. Definitely see it turning into a to-do after work more often.“

“Dootsie's Kitchen is a true soul food gem!

I had the whiting with collard greens and cabbage, plus two more whiting with fries—and let me tell you, everything was absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly seasoned and fried just right, and the sides had that real home-cooked flavor you can’t fake. The collards and cabbage were tender and flavorful, like something straight out of Grandma’s kitchen.

If you're craving real soul food, Dootsie's Kitchen delivers with love in every bite. I highly recommend checking them out and supporting this amazing Black-owned business. I’ll definitely be back“

“I must emphasize that this establishment in Washington Township offers the most delectable wings in the region. I had the pleasure of trying both the honey hot and mild wings, and the flavors were exceptional. I would like to extend my gratitude to our bartender, who was exceptionally skilled, amiable, and outgoing. Additionally, I had the opportunity to speak with the owner, who is a truly wonderful individual. If you ever find yourself in the vicinity of this establishment, I highly recommend visiting and savoring their culinary creations.“

“I ordered on UberEats and called in to see if they could put all the meat on the side because my partner is vegetarian for health reasons. The staff who picked up the phone said she would make sure to do her best to get my request in, and the kitchen ended up fulfilling that request. “This place has really gone down hill. I think the reason they keep it open is because it’s right across from the movie theater and they have a captive audience. Most of the time, you can walk right in and sit, but the good times end there. Usually, they take forever with orders, the food comes out wrong or has been sitting in the window for 10 minutes and comes out like something from Wawa’s hot and ready food by the checkout. The waiters typically look like they’re running around blindfolded serving 20 tables on their own even though nobody is there. The drinks are yummy like Willy Wonka Made them, and I like the brownies and Jack Daniel’s chicken even if they don’t call it Jack Daniel’s anymore. At least they serve food late unlike the tavern downtown. Five stars.“

“We go to Gusto's somewhat regularly and have always had a good experience. The food is always excellent, have never had a bad meal there. Our personal favorites are the brussels sprouts appetizer, the mediterranean faro salad, and the steak sandwich. But we have also tried other items (ie the short rib) and everything was always delicious. Service is good and the vibe is upbeat. Cocktails are also great.“

“We’ve stayed here annually for 16 years. It’s a pass through for us. One night but friendly and helpful staff good food and we seen the same FD staff for the past 12 years. Even during Covid we stayed, they cared even though the kitchen was closed they advised us where to get take out. It is a comfortable, friendly place to stay.“

“Being a meat cutter by trade in the Air Force, having a hard time cutting a $45 med/rare filet is hard to swallow. The fact it was served already cut, apparently was the first clue to be prepared, this may take a minute. Flavor was better, but still needed to ask for s&p. Whipped potatoes amazing! French Onion soup as well. Rib appetizer out of this world! Don't buy the chicken nuggets although the presentation basket was a nostalgic touch. Macncheese side was incredible! Recommend the Wood-double Bourbon.“

“We stayed here so we could go to Six Flags. Really nice people and great customer service ! The front desk was very accommodating and helpful and the restaurant/ bar personnel were extremely sweet! Not many options to eat but what we had was actually fresh and surprisingly good for a small hotel. Free parking and laundry room were a big plus. Very quiet neighborhood and some weddings were happening while we stayed but I basically heard no noise from guests or was bothered by loud music. Really recommend!“

“We had a nice time celebrating my son's surprise 21st birthday at Grillestone. Jose and staff were all very nice and easy to work with and they even helped pull off the surprise. Since it was a 21st Birthday, I wanted to keep it casual and wanted food that my son enjoys when hanhing out. Jose was accommodating and I ordered all different appetizers as the meal. We had plenty of food and it came out all night long as discussed just needed a little bread in between (lol) and we even had leftovers to take home as well. We had a variety of pizza, fried calamari, avacado toast, wings, mac & cheese, nachos, sliders & fries, quesadilla & Ceasar Salad, Great staff, food, drinks all night long. The only thing missing was the band/ DJ but the weather didn't cooperate that night. Thanks again and we look forward in coming back!!!“

“The food is 4 stars as a hotel restaurant. Food was just ok ... some good, some mediocre. I was staying next door at the Residence Inn so this was really the only place that was within a short/medium walk. I went a second time without hesitation. The third night i didnt really want to, but wanted to drive even less. App portions were huge. Calamari was ok. Bbq chicken wings were great, sweet chili wings were not good. Quesadilla was really good (super greasy from all the cheese) Chicken sandwich was really good. Chicken Caesar was good but a bit too much dressing. Creme brule was very disappointing. Had low expectations for a hotel resto ... it beat them, but only by a little.“

“I think this place is pretty decent overall. It's a solid spot for decently priced bagels, flavors pretty good but I wouldn't say it's the best. If you live nearby or in the area it's a solid choice and I don't think you'll be disappointed but it's nothing to write home about. I did try the loaded pork roll burger since it was made famous by Guy Fieri, and I appreciate him putting local spots like this on the map but its pretty overrated and not that great. Burger itself is pretty mid but the pork roll and bagel is good, I'd say pork roll burger is a 6/10, and the bagels are 8/10. The Reuben is surprisingly pretty good though.“

“Omg I’m in love with the @countrystore454 . They are notorious for breakfast and lunch. The food was amazing no one spoke till the last bite. I had the worlds best Chicken Gyro 🥙. Made with real juicy chicken no mystery meat, fresh veggies, and tzatziki sauce so good I thought I was in Greece 🇬🇷. The wife had a classic cheesesteak you know I had to take a bite amazing to say the least. My mother in law had a Turkey club with crispy bacon non of that chewy stuff, it was packed with over 3 lb of the best @boarshead_official turkey. You can tell they take pride in fresh quality ingredients. My kids are super picky eaters and they gave 2 thumbs up as they devoured tenders and crinkle fries.The store is so nostalgic with old school items like Mary Janes made with real molasses and peanut butter, my favorite was a refreshing apple soda. The staff was fast and very friendly. This place is a true hidden gem 💎 literally the bellybutton of NJ surrounded by beautiful farms and trees very picturesque. “I cannot say enough great things about Chef’s Rotisserie! The beef patties are our absolute favorite menu item but everything we have tried is great! Today, they forgot two of our beef patties that I paid for so I called them and they rectified the situation by personally delivering them to our home which is over 25 minutes away from them. “Best pizza in New Jersey! I’m honestly surprised Dave Portnoy hasn’t come to rate this place a 10. Their pizza is incredibly crispy, and the ingredients are simple but high quality. They’re always making different pies throughout the day, so there’s always something fresh and delicious coming out.

The customer service is impeccable. I’m not from New Jersey, but every time I walk in, they treat me like family. They also have a great lunch special—two slices of any kind. I usually go for the vodka cheese and a pepperoni slice, and it never disappoints. Oh, and you have to try the sugar-free cream soda—it’s so good!
