“Dootsie's Kitchen is a true soul food gem!

I had the whiting with collard greens and cabbage, plus two more whiting with fries—and let me tell you, everything was absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly seasoned and fried just right, and the sides had that real home-cooked flavor you can’t fake. The collards and cabbage were tender and flavorful, like something straight out of Grandma’s kitchen.

“Typical Bar and Grill atmosphere, but I will say it was set up in a way More Welcoming that Most. What distances it from other similar locations in South Jersey (and beyond) is twofold: 1) My Food Order was a Cheesesteak Wrap (my usual order, if it is on the Menu). I have to admit, I have tasted many and I cannot recall having one as (Very!) Well Made as this one! The Wrap was Perfect Temperature, the Steak, Incredibly Lean and the blend of the ingredients gave me the same Great taste from the first to last bite!! My Compliments to the Chef!! 2) Service. Cannot recall the Waitresses name, but my visit was on Friday Evening, the 16th of May. Everything was delivered in a timely manner and she had a very kind attitude. Checked back on us from time to time, but not so frequently as to be annoying. Her response to whatever we needed (i.e. drink refills, condiments) was at all times cheerful and immediate, definitely above board. She completed The Perfect Dining Experience for me and my Party of three. Yes, the Word will go out (and already has), Sharkey's is the Place to go (again and again). GREAT JOB TO ALL!!!“

“My company and I had a rack of ribs with rice and broccoli, a million dollar cobb salad with salmon instead of chicken. Well done and whiskey glazed ribs. Outstanding. Just outstanding. My compliments to the chef. My only disappointment is that they shut down so many TGIF restaurants and I had to drive so far to find this one. However, it was well worth it. The other problem was they seemed to be low staffed and the young lady who was serving me was very busy and having somewhat of a hard time keeping up.“

Food presentation neat and attractive along with generous portions of the side dish. If you love burgers, order the brioche bun aoli pickle sauce and bourbon jam burger. It's delicious with the combo of sweet and a bit of dill tart. Home made chips on the side are nice and crunchy pairing well with the sauces to dip a chip! “This was my first ever time at a Stewart’s Restaurant, and I can undoubtedly say that I was NOT disappointed. There are so many food items to choose from and they even offer a vegan menu. At this location specifically, the staff was very welcoming and were quick to check in on us when we needed something. I loved the root beer float and the chili hot dog, and I would definitely come here again soon.“

“We’ve stayed here annually for 16 years. It’s a pass through for us. One night but friendly and helpful staff good food and we seen the same FD staff for the past 12 years. Even during Covid we stayed, they cared even though the kitchen was closed they advised us where to get take out. It is a comfortable, friendly place to stay.“

“Being a meat cutter by trade in the Air Force, having a hard time cutting a $45 med/rare filet is hard to swallow. The fact it was served already cut, apparently was the first clue to be prepared, this may take a minute. Flavor was better, but still needed to ask for s&p. Whipped potatoes amazing! French Onion soup as well. Rib appetizer out of this world! Don't buy the chicken nuggets although the presentation basket was a nostalgic touch. Macncheese side was incredible! Recommend the Wood-double Bourbon.“

“We stayed here so we could go to Six Flags. Really nice people and great customer service ! The front desk was very accommodating and helpful and the restaurant/ bar personnel were extremely sweet! Not many options to eat but what we had was actually fresh and surprisingly good for a small hotel. Free parking and laundry room were a big plus. Very quiet neighborhood and some weddings were happening while we stayed but I basically heard no noise from guests or was bothered by loud music. Really recommend!“

“We've been here a few times and have had a great experience across the board. The food is delicious and at a great price. Our favorites are the BBQ ribs, wings, and coleslaw/potato salad. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere is a little lack luster but most people order take out and don't typically eat in. Regardless, we love the food and have had great experiences. We'll always come here when we crave classic BBQ. Highly recommend!“

“We had a nice time celebrating my son's surprise 21st birthday at Grillestone. Jose and staff were all very nice and easy to work with and they even helped pull off the surprise. Since it was a 21st Birthday, I wanted to keep it casual and wanted food that my son enjoys when hanhing out. Jose was accommodating and I ordered all different appetizers as the meal. We had plenty of food and it came out all night long as discussed just needed a little bread in between (lol) and we even had leftovers to take home as well. We had a variety of pizza, fried calamari, avacado toast, wings, mac & cheese, nachos, sliders & fries, quesadilla & Ceasar Salad, Great staff, food, drinks all night long. The only thing missing was the band/ DJ but the weather didn't cooperate that night. Thanks again and we look forward in coming back!!!“

“Best pizza in New Jersey! I’m honestly surprised Dave Portnoy hasn’t come to rate this place a 10. Their pizza is incredibly crispy, and the ingredients are simple but high quality. They’re always making different pies throughout the day, so there’s always something fresh and delicious coming out.

The customer service is impeccable. I’m not from New Jersey, but every time I walk in, they treat me like family. They also have a great lunch special—two slices of any kind. I usually go for the vodka cheese and a pepperoni slice, and it never disappoints. Oh, and you have to try the sugar-free cream soda—it’s so good!
