“It's a great place! If you are not white,please don't go। Tbh we were having a great time, till we were outed. And only reason being is we were brown skinned. A party of 7 with 5 towers with everyone ubering . In my 11 years being in US,first time I felt racially profiled, that too in my community where I have my own home. Disappointed ofcourse, I am compelled to think about legal recourse because of the insult we felt. If you ARE NOT WHITE, DONT GO THERE. This is an absolute disgrace. And unfortunately, you might face racism from immigrants there. Unfortunately such is the state of this country, being racist will bring more customers. I feel sorry for the regulars. May be they are not racists, but they are patronizing the establishment. Please don't blame the waiting staff though, it's the management who is the problem.“

It is a fairly large space and probably used to be a chain restaurant, but it was completely PACKED with people who wanted vegetarian food! I was impressed. Plan ahead though; we waited 45 minutes for a table. There were very few options (only 2 dishes and an appetizer) for vegans. Someone had to come over and suggest them for us. When we did get the food, however, it was incredible - freshly made with beautiful ingredients. You could feel the shredded ginger and my dal had bright green baby spinach, which I almost never see in an Indian restaurant. If there had been more vegan options it would have been a 5.“

“Quite simply The Blue Bottle has the best cuisine of any restaurant in the area that I live. And there are quite a few good ones. The only problem I have with them most often is getting a reservation on the weekend. I also have a problem managing culinary heat [a physical rather than a gastronomic one] and I wish I could tolerate more of it in some of their creations. I really recommend the place.“

Filippo presented a five course meal which blew everyone away followed by him playing a few songs on the Piano. “Mi Espana is outstanding! Totally blew us away! Absolutely fantastic authentic home cooked Spanish food!! The caldo gallego (soup with greens, pork, white beans & potatoes), sopa pescado (seafood soup), chicken paella, pulpo (octopus with vegetables), and torta dessert were all fantastic! The chef clearly loves what they do and you can taste it! Great service too! Better than the Spanish restaurants in NYC, N. NJ & Philly and very reasonably priced! Can't wait to go back!!“

“My brother and I just had a memorial service for our parents and we went to Espo’s for a luncheon after the church. This place is amazing and Nick the owner treated us like royalty. The food was the best Italian food I’ve had. Nick and his staff made our celebration of life for my parents wonderfully memorable. I live in Colorado, but I will definitely visit Espo’s for a meal next time I’m in Raritan NJ. Thank you Nick“

“The best pizza place local to me. When you walk in it smells of as a traditional Italian grandmas kitchen. My boyfriend was craving pizza so I brought him here. He got the meatball pie. The face he made after eating the first bite was him falling in love with me all over again ?. This place also has amazing gluten free and vegetarian options. I recommend this place to all my friends. Tight indoor dining but they have a cute patio outback that’s much more spacious. I personally always do take out.

Our server was prompt to the table, gave us time to decide, and brought water. And so it went, no complaints. Pizza is no longer a cheap meal, so no problem with the prices, which are reasonable. The pies, well, they are a tasty, flavorful meal, with crust done perfectly. One of our party ordered an arugula salad, which he devoured.
