“Celebrated my moms birthday at Tabor Tavern today. The food was amazing & the atmosphere is gorgeous in the fall, but what was spectacular was our server Dianne. There were 7 of us in our party including a 3 year old and she anticipated our needs every step of the meal. We would recommend going here for a date night, family dinner, celebration, holiday party etc.“

“I came to First Watch for the very first time last Thursday and had an outstanding experience. Sheila was my server and could not have been more helpful, kind, and patient. I’m usually indecisive, but Sheila guided me by suggesting, “You could get the best of both worlds with 2 for you,” which was perfect. I chose the Roast Beef & Havarti (she recommended having the roast beef heated, and it was spot on) along with the Chicken Avocado Chop Salad. The food was excellent, but the service truly stood out. Sheila had a smile on her face the entire time, which brightened my day before class. I highly recommend both this restaurant and Sheila as your server!

“This place is tucked in and if you are not careful you might miss it. It is on a busy street so if you're not looking you'll miss it for sure. The service is great, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the food is fabulous. There is a bar, where you can watch TV, which is a plus. You will in and are greeted with a smile and warmth. Our server was very pleasant, Kyle I believe was his name, he sounds just like Casey Affleck 😀. Anyway, 😆 back to the food, my 🍔, the classic bacon, was deliciously seasoned. I must say it is the first place I go to that season their burgers. Hubby and daughter both had burgers (bacon blue and simple burger). The highlight and best part was the dessert, 😋. A delicious triple chocolate dream hot brownie and cookie with ice cream and whipped cream drizzled with more chocolate 😋 😋 😋 . What a dream indeed.“

“Delicious food. Great service by Sydney! It started with amazing honey bread at the table. Flatbreads yum, especially the one with fig topping. Muscles, tuna tartare, noodle flush, brussel sprouts, calamari salad, and more! All yum! Would absolutely go there again. We had 8-10 people and the service was excellent.“

“We made a reservation for 14 people here to celebrate our engagement with family and the experience was incredible!

I reached out to the restaurant in advance to make the reservation and the staff was incredibly helpful answering questions and making sure that the reservation was correct. I then was able to follow up and pre-order appetizers for our group and the staff at Agricola made great recommendations that everyone loved.

Our dining experience was incredible and with amazing service from Marco everyone was thoroughly impressed! The food and drinks were phenomenal which added to the experience!

Additionally Agricola made the night very special writing a card for my Fiancée and I and presenting us with a congratulatory dessert!! I would highly recommend Agricola to anyone and especially for special occasions or celebrations!!“

“New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. A wonderful experience!“

“We held my mother and her twin brother’s 75th birthday in the Patio Room on Friday evening. Everything was perfect. The food was wonderful. Everyone was stuffed! My favorite was the shrimp and scallops, my husband’s couldn’t get enough of the prime rib! Jonathan and his team took such great care of us. He was so attentive. I have no idea how he remembered what everyone was drinking because we were getting up and mingling, but he managed to make sure everyone had a drink in their hand. Being next to the pizza oven when it was below freezing made it so cozy! I would absolutely recommend Cinders; a great time was had by all.“

But what is compelling me to post this was truly the regarding the service I received here. It brought me to tears!!! Patricio and Dylan were the most considerate, kind, attentive and understanding waiters I have ever met in my entire life. After dining in the tri-state area my whole life, exploring cities like Chicago and LA through food, I’ve been conditioned and numb to lackluster waitstaff and typically take the approach of trying just to avoid them spitting in my food, but Patricio and Dylan completely floored me in their attention to detail, knowledge, and service that showed me exactly what good waiters could be. Living with GI issues and intolerances, I consistently feel like an inconvenience at restaurants and that the entire responsibility of making sure I don’t fall ill after dining is based on how I modify the menu and pick around my plate. EXCEPT here at Rails with Patricio and Dylan, I had the first care-free dining experience in my life, their thoughtfulness allowed me to be truly present with my family, enjoy the wonderful food being served, and just live in the moment, which is so important to me. Dylan was explicit in the detail of every dish and always helped me navigate what was coming around and being served. Now, back to the tears, when I subtly mentioned in passing to Patricio that I couldn’t eat dairy and couldn’t partake in the birthday cake, he brought me a delicious sorbet flight, unprompted, just so that I could feel a part of the festivities. “Cold nights call for comfort food! Harlee’s was a great spot to pick before seeing a show at nearby Papermill Playhouse (about 15-20 minutes from the theater).

Harlee’s has an amazing cocktail menu, and plenty of beer on tap which is great while you’re watching a game at the bar.

Their signature appetizers are a must have. The roasted brussel sprouts are caramelized and crispy and loaded with bacon. I loved their crispy chicken wings with sweet chili sauce, which hit the perfect sweet heat combo. The French onion soup was perfection, probably my favorite of the night, with rich savory broth that truly warmed up my cold January night. The ahi tuna bites were fresh, light, and zesty. And not something you see often at a gastropub!

When I saw disco fries on the menu, you know this Jersey girl had to get some and let me tell you, they were everything I hoped for and more.

We got the pioneer burger and the big bleu burger. They were charred beautifully yet still so juicy and tender. The onion rings they came with were delicious and crispy!

The waffles with ice cream ended dinner on a sweet note, with ice cream from Zita’s topped perfectly on the fluffy golden waffles.

This place has great food, great energy, the kindest staff, and the cutest pictures of dogs on the wall to top it all off.

“I would like to start the review with saying that our server Tony/Antonio was THE BEST. He is a gentleman and a scholar and amazing person and is great at what he does. I went to with my fiancé, sister and brother-in-law to Montville Diner before going pumpkin picking on a Sunday. The food was great! We'll all had breakfast, my sister and I both ordered the western omelet and added cheese (American and Mozzarella), bro-in-law had eggs benedict and my fiancé had a plain scrambled and home fries.
