“Give this local place a try if you can. As you can see by reading the reviews the staff is so friendly, and welcoming, they take care of you. It’s not just a bar, there is a casual dining room, plenty of tables. The food is good, VERY GOOD!! I ordered shrimp and veg upon recommendation 👍👍. Others at my table had penne vodka with some great looking grilled chicken, and fish n chips. Bring your family or friends. A full meal thats more affordable than many places.“

“Tankys is the spot! These people in the comments below complaining about it being unsafe just have nothing better to do. Other bars right down the block plays music just as loud and stays open just as late. Besides the one incident last year, there aren’t any brawls or fights that happen there. Most ppl that go there are regulars and know each other. To the ppl complaint about it being loud in open late, you have the power to move to another place you knew where you were moving to when you moved there tankys has been there my whole lifeThe drinks are strong and cheap, the vibe is chill, older crowd, when they have a DJ the music is good, u can bring food in, and they have a lil pool table and a parking lot. “We held a special birthday party for my husband in their private upstairs room and could not have been happier. The whole experience from start to finish was terrific. We had a smaller event and it's a pretty big room, but it felt just right the way the tables were arranged. We got in early enough to set up and everyone from management to the bartender and servers were as nice and accommodating as could be. I cannot say enough good things. If you are looking for a space for an event, look no further!“
