“Went to Fresh Tiki Bar in Somerville for ice cream and wow, did not disappoint. It’s rich and creamy, you can just tell it’s made with good ingredients, not the cheap stuff. Not overly sweet either, which I loved. The tropical flavors were a fun twist, definitely not your average ice cream shop. Portions were generous too, no complaints there. Staff was super friendly and fast. Great little spot for a hot day, already thinking about my next visit. If you’re around Somerville and want something sweet, this is the move.“

“We first discovered Unionville through the Oyster Festival, and the entire team was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We came back yesterday for a wine tasting, and once again, the service was impeccable.

Emilia is absolutely lovely. She explained each wine with so much patience, and it was clear how knowledgeable she is and how much she genuinely enjoys being there. That kind of passion makes such a difference, both for the business and for the customer experience.

The wines are incredible — authentic, full of personality, and each one has its own character. I’m normally not even a white wine person, but theirs were so good that I actually ended up taking a few bottles home.

The Northern Italian menu which changes to focus on only the freshest ingredients has a little Swiss influence and is presented with an artistic touch and personal care. Last evening I hosted sixteen business associates in the back room which has an iron gate for privacy. Filippo presented a five course meal which blew everyone away followed by him playing a few songs on the Piano. The Chicken or Cod dishes were pan seared to perfection. daFilippo's is a BYOB restaurant which I Love. My wife remarked how clean the restrooms are kept. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. In closing, if you are looking for a family owned, unique restaurant where the owner chef touches every plate to ensure perfection then this is the place to make a reservation.“

Also their bacon breakfast sandwich and large crumble cookies (they have four or five different kinds) are to die for. And their organic lemonade is also awesome! And the barista’s know their stuff. I also like their grab and go organic sandwiches.“

“Kyma is the reason we drive 30 minutes for amazing authentic Greek cuisine. Our appetizer/small plate of smoked eggplant dip & lamb empanada with herb mint sauce was a wonderful start. Sea bass in tomato broth with potatoes & Aegean shrimp dish were perfectly prepared. We had to have the baklava with vanilla ice cream (no pic as we attacked it!). The ambience, service and food made for a beautiful meal!“

Adrian took all of our orders including appetizers without writing anything down. The food was delivered to perfection. I am astounded by the diversity of the menu, the ability to switch out sides, the quality and taste of the food. The chefs are talented and cook to delight every palate. “I recently ordered 2 birthday cakes from here. Our go to ice cream shop where we religiously bought cakes from recently switched hands. We definitely found our new spot here at the Thee Ice Cream Parlor for ice cream birthday cakes. They were ready promptly for pick up on Father's Day when they opened with a long line and one employee working. Not only that but also dietary restrictions of no dairy for the one cake were followed so the birthday girl could enjoy her cake as well! Thank you, I highly recommend and we will be ordering more cakes in the future!“
