We enjoyed the skirt steak with shrimp, lamb chops, and guacamole, paired with tamarind and guava mojitos. The atmosphere was very pleasant, enhanced by a live singer. The service was impeccable from the host to our server everyone knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. Now to the food, arguably some of the best Oaxacan cuisine I have tasted outside of Mexico. The crudo was so fresh and vibrant the short rib memela was one of the best dishes I have had in a very long time. Everything was fresh and tasty. “When Paterson Ave Deli closed a few years back, I never thought I’d get to eat one of Roy’s cheesesteaks I loved so much again. Luckily for us, we stumbled upon this place today and found our long lost favorite! I couldn’t be more excited to know the chef behind our favorite deli has his own place with an eclectic menu, great prices and a great location. I got the cheesesteak and fries and my girlfriend got the Reuben (a sandwich she’s lamented missing from Paterson Ave Deli for YEARS) - two full satisfying meals for $30. This was such an exciting find, and I cannot wait to come back and try the rib sandwich and general tsos burrito. I hope Mr. Roy’s is here for a long time!“

“I looked up what foods in the area were top rated and this little restaurant popped up. So I went for a try. Got the steak nachos and WOW. Everything taste fresh and even the chip were crispy fresh and taste homemade. The crema, beans, steak well seasoned, guacamole all paired wonderfully and perfect portions of each. I hate getting nachos with 80% chips, 10% beans and barely any protein. This place knows exactly what they’re doing and I can’t wait to try other stuff on their menu. Also it’s a very small restaurant with limited seating. I took my food to-go and it was well packaged and hot.“

“I needed a quick lunch, so I tried this place. I had a chorizo taco and a tinga de pollo quesadilla. The taco was awesome! The sausage was cut into tiny cubes and grilled, not soaked in oil and grease like some places. And the tinga was excellent, not dry, and had that great tangy flavor I love. Everything was fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. If I'm in the neighborhood again, I'll definitely go back.“

The person who served us was very friendly, the place was clean, there were two tables under a tent where we could eat.
The wait time was short considering that there were several people who had already ordered before us.
Very good size of the taquitos and mulitas in relation to their cost.
