“We feel so lucky to have had Judy cater our wedding (Masker’s Barn, 90 guests). I had never had anything catered in my life and Judy was so patient addressing all of my questions. All the food looked and tasted delicious. Among the guests' favorite dishes: Mini potato pancakes, honey glazed salmon filets (my favorite), stuffed shells with marinara sauce, oven-roasted baby potatoes. Judy was also able to accommodate my last minute requests for gluten free servings. Her staff were efficient and proactive and the way they arranged my mom’s desserts made her so happy. We look forward to working with her again!“

“I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. “Pop up dinner at cafe zingara was a one of a kind experience. The newly opened breakfast/lunch spot has become a local favorite so when I heard about the pop up dinner I had to be there. The chefs prepared several appetizer courses and 3 main courses served family-style. There was an abundance of food. The lamb chops were some of the best I’ve had, and the chicken parm on the bone was a unique touch on a classic favorite. Hopefully these dinners will become a regular occurrence because it was one of the best meals I’ve had in my life.“

The one item we didn't completely love when we went was our chai. Like many western chais, this one was too sweet. (To me, once it's that sweet, you lose all those aromatic notes of the ginger and cinnamon, but that's beside the point).

When I approached the workers with our feelings on the drink, they were quick to make a change without charging us. They completely remade the drink with less syrup, and it made a huge difference.

So, we we will definitely be back for a second visit! It's a great atmosphere, with fun options, and a helpful staff. Remaking that drink was really nice and showed they will do what's in their power to make your experience the best it can be.“

“Boxwood Cafe is a gem! The owner has created a high quality coffee shop and the employees are very friendly. I like to stop by for a latte and a baked good (scone, cookie, or blueberry bar) and sit outside at one of the side tables. Pre-Covid, they hosted open mic night and quiz night every month. Now Steve hosts a monthly Zoom Quiz Night and it is so much fun! A great locally owned cafe.“

We have been in contact with the owner, Chris, to help us send nutritious treats (the most delicious smoothies in town!) to the heroes on the front line of this unfortunate pandemic at Saint Barnabas Hospital. My father's been fighting COVID and due to appropriate hospital regulations, we have not been able to visit him - the incredible doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, technicians, and support staff have been faced with not only caring for patients but being their bedside cheerleaders. I've gotten feedback from the nurses that the smoothies are a huge hit! Not only are they tasty, but they are extremely nutritious! There's a huge variety to choose from and the mechanism for ordering/delivering was so easy (they even attached personalized notes from us!) that we've utilized their services several times to help treat the hospital heroes. Also, of note, is their special attention to sanitary mechanisms as they prepare food/smoothies during this scary time. *The cafe has donated a tremendous amount to the hospital heroes as well, and for that, they must be commended and supported during this difficult time for local businesses.“
