“Old school irish pub , caught the early yankee game here in the afternoon. Very quiet , prices for drinks were very good, bartender was so nice , she was very quick making sure we always had a drink , didn't have to call or wave her down like some places.“

“Tankys is the spot! These people in the comments below complaining about it being unsafe just have nothing better to do. Other bars right down the block plays music just as loud and stays open just as late. Besides the one incident last year, there aren’t any brawls or fights that happen there. Most ppl that go there are regulars and know each other. “This is the one of the last remaining true dive bars in Hoboken. I like to come here once all the other bars in the area get too crowded. Never a line to get in here, even on the weekends. No frills bar with no food. But, beers are reasonably priced and there is a digital jukebox where you can play anything you like. The bartender was friendly and service was good.“
