“Ecuadorian food my waitress was a Dominican girl really kind she is New but is a good one. Very respectful,nice ,kind,and serve the things carefully. I really feel so good i been sad because my mom was travelling back to my country and she doesn't know she treat me nice and make my day better. I will return. I know this place for years before in another locación. The food is fresh and taste fresh. Mi comida estaba deliciosa, la mesera fue muy amable y nos atendió muy bien, con respeto y nos sentimos muy contentos.

“Cafeteria style service te customer service was superb, given the location. Had a slight language barrier bit nothing Google translate can't help you with. If all else fails you can point to what you would like.. they do have a small but very clean restroom food was delicious! The tamarin juice was bomb and for dessert try the tres leches cake was 💣 😋.“

As a vegetarian I got served a meal that had meat in it. It was a large order so I don't fully fault them. I'm sure if I had ordered on my own they would have said something.
Vegetarian options: Not much for vegetarians and my rice ended up having meat in it. It was a large order so I don't fully blame them“

“I love coming here! It's super eccentric and there are several unique paintings of the city (made by local artists and are for sale)! The food comes quick, and even when it's super busy there is never a long wait for a table. I have had a few different breakfast and lunch items here, and they never disappoint.“

“Very Nice Establishment I must say and Very Clean. I have visit The Patio On Sussex multiple times and I will right this review upon my last experience. I was started with Complimentary Chips and Salsa and it was very fresh and tasty, as I placed my order with a well spoken server by the name of Bri she suggested that I should try the Wild Caught Shrimp Soup and she was spot on. The Soup was flavorful and it didn’t disappoint. I absolutely recommend The Patio On Sussex for all to try. My Compliments to the Chef and Owners. Thank You for Bringing such a wonderful experience to myself.“

“Wow! I am from Brooklyn NY and moved to Jersey recently and this spot is the closest to Brooklyn NY Jamaican food. I've been to so many west Indian spots in East Orange and Newark and it's been horrible. Brooklyn NY has the best Jamaician food but now this spot takes the crown! ( I had the breakfast)“

“It's my first time in the restaurant and its my last, i asked to get a chicken breast with my meal and i got a chicken leg. I was paying for what i wanted to eat. NOT good customer service. other surrounding restaurants serve what customers ask for. anyways i went to happy chicken colombian restaurant and bought a chicken breast not a problem.“
