“We had a great time at Casa d'Paco. The food was wonderful and the service friendly. It's a smalll, intimate restaurant that seemed like many from neighborhood and the larger surrounding area. There were lots of great options to choose from and everything that we ordered was delicious. We appreciated that they had valet parking because it's hard to find parking in the neighborhood. We will definitely return!“

“A friend ordered a variety of wraps and some fried chicken for my family which was a wonderful surprise in itself. But to add to this the food was Amazing!!! Crispy non greasy moist chicken, tasty huge chicken wraps and the largest fresh shrimp wraps with fresh vegetables that I have ever seen. Give this local establishment a chance you won’t be disappointed.“

“Our table of 4 loved everything from start to finish. My chorizos were the best I’ve ever eaten (including Spain). Dinner companion Eileen orders the shrimp in green sauce every time and is in heaven. Husband Phil’s vegetarian paella and portobello mushroom appetizer were delicious as were the table’s side dishes of green beans and carrots (perfectly cooked) and potato chips (yum). Massive entrees of which we all took portions home to enjoy as leftovers. Expert service by real waiters who knew everything and met our every dining need.“

“I order 5 Star quite often, the food is good. The restaurant is cute but, and clean. What I do want to say is that if you order bbq and request bbq sauce you may not get it. Plenty times it has happened, i comfirm its in the bag, then you check the to go bag and they hand it to you. Not nice.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level entrance, no steps.“

“Very nice place for lunch. Great variety, and the food tastes very good. Rather cheap also. You pay by weight. The only thing I don't like much is that they only have plastic disposable cutlery. But despite this, we go there often for lunch with colleagues.“

“This is the best Spanish food in Newark . Small , quiet neighborhood place with outstanding food and professional service. the waiter turning is zero. The same waiters at the restaurant for many years. They got me to try the goat and it was excellent........even though I'm not a fan of goat.“

“Food is good, I have been coming to this restaurant for years. I do however recommend that you ask for the price of drinks prior to ordering especially if it’s not during happy hour. Drinks are way too expensive. The pricese are not listed on the menu One glass of Sangria $19.50. I was caught of guard with that one , imagine my surprise when I received my bill seeing that sangria was $39 for two glasses. Had I known that I would have just drank water and bought my own sangria for less at the local liquor store or went to a different bar. Also; there are a few things on the menu with no prices listed. Just ask for the price before ordering . I feel that the prices for the food such as lamb chops and seafoods are fair, but the drinks. Nope; Sorry not sorry. $19.50 for one glass of sangria is out right ridiculous and unnecessary. Other than the overpriced drink; everything else is good.“

“I’ve eaten here two times. The ladies behind the bar are extremely friendly and attentive. The meals are tasty with generous portions. I’m not a huge fan of French fries, but these are so good and taste homemade! The salad was delicious and the garlic pork chops were excellent. My friend had grilled salmon and enjoyed it. The prices are affordable and they even have a $4 glass of house wine that they fill to the rim; you can’t beat it! My only complaint is that it is extremely warm in there. Other than that, I highly recommend.“

“I recently moved to the Ironbound and needed to find myself a pizza place. Luckily, this place is only a few blocks from my apartment. It's not very big and doesn't seem to be popular for eat-in dining, but it is always busy with people getting take out. The pizza itself has rather thin crust and the sauce is great. I love their margherita pizza. If you eat there, be prepared to pay for drinks even if you get water. They only have bottled. The only down side is that because it's a small place and busy the service can be slow. Order in advance and then you can pick it up or have it delivered when you're ready to eat. I added photos of the menu for anyone who needs it!“
“When I tell you that not only is the food delicious they also have a heart of Gold!!! I hired them to cator my daughters baby shower. Unfortunately 2 days before our event my daughter had to undergo an emergency csection. They didn’t hesitate to refund me the money we paid even though they were clearly at a loss. The compassion and the understanding they delivered to my family and I is priceless!! Tu Pais restaurant… you guys rock!!! Thank you for your service!! Is business like yours who makes this world a better place!!!“

“I come here for the papusas only because they are so good that I haven't tried anything else on the menu but I'm sure it will be good.been coming here for 15 years and I live in FL and when I visit this is the first stop every time“
“Love love love love love love love their barbecue! If you get the whole chicken or half a chicken with white rice and fries the rice is not dry!! You know like most places, you can't eat a whole mouth full of rice without choking on it from it being dry? WELL Five Star's rice is so moist that you could literally sit there and gobble down a whole bunch of rice and not have to worry about it being dry as hell and choking on it!!
Parking: It's on the corner of Adams and market so it's very hard to find parking especially if it's after work hours there is absolutely no freaking parking like you have to double Park on market and it's very dangerous to do that because everybody drives like crazy after they get out of work“
