“I come here almost every day or every other day and everytime I come through those doors all the associates greet me with respect like am family. They are very outgoing n respectful n they want me to have a beautiful experience here which I always do "That's y I always come back. “What a great and convenient place to have lunch or breakfast. I truly enjoy the sandwiches and soups. My favorite is beef barley on Tuesdays. “Really friend staff; the food I’ve ordered there has never tasted off - specifically the pumpkin & lentil soup; chicken mozzarella sandwich. Compared to the other health fast casual chains in the radius (sweet green, chopt, etc.) this is my favorite.

“I come here when I need work done on my car, since my mechanic is a few blocks away , unfortunately it has been too often. Coming to Breakhouse puts some good vibes Into the trip. I get here early, I love their breakfast selections. The coffee is good but cappuccino is even better. They have a very clean and comfortable bathroom. If I lived closer, I'd be here very often. “Came across this restaurant as I was searching for Black owned eateries in this new neighborhood we just moved to. When we arrived, the exterior was a little off putting, LOL! So glad Shaun himself stepped out as well as a gentleman who came to pick up his order. We got to ask his opinion of the food. He told us this was his 7th time back so we thought, Let’s give it a try! $58 later, we got 3 meals and WOW! Delicious!!! Everything was so GOOD! Catfish, Yams, Mac n Cheese (and I am VERY picky about Mac n cheese), Honey Garlic Salmon, BBQ wings, rice and gravy and that cornbread!!!! Definitely coming back! I hope this review helps another skeptic not miss out on a GREAT SPOT!!!!! Worth the try! The portions are hearty! So glad we decided to give it a shot!!!“

“This literal "corner coffee shop" is a gem in Jersey City. We found it around the corner from our Air BnB on our second day in the city...and wish we would have found it on day one! The employees were extremely kind and accommodating of our request for plant-based options. They have four or five options for non-dairy bases to coffee drinks and smoothies. We both got the avocado toast (one of us on bread and the other on a bagel) and the food was amazing.
Dietary restrictions: Basic has four or five non-dairy options for their coffee drinks. There also are a couple breakfast sandwiches that can be made without dairy or meat.“
