“The lady behind the counter was super nice and excitedly explained Electric Beets's food philosophy to me. I got two containers of peanut stew, one basil biscuit, one apple cinnamon scone, and one chocolate chip cookie. All the food was delicious and left me feeling good afterwards!“

“Perfect start to the day! We stayed here 4 or 5 times during our week in NY for breakfast. We tested porridge, acai bowls and smoothies. The "Hell's Kitchen Sink" tastes awesome (with peanut butter and cocoa nips.) The smoothies Boo Berry, Gymbuddy and Energy Boost are each made with almond or coconut milk and protein powder .We loved everything! The service is very friendly and There are only a few seats, so we were there early (about 8 / 9h) and had no problems getting a small table.Now we are back home and miss the delicious bowls!“

“I've ordered from many places that make acai or green bowls But this Playa bowl in particular, is by far the best one in brooklyn. They always seem to get it right! I dont live close to this one so most of the time I have to Uber it & when I call, if i have a question they always answer the phone, & they make sure my order is just how I wanted it. Because sometimes the app doesnt show all deals. This place has been titled as a fav for sure!“

When we get back to work we realize both orders are mixed up and one order that was supposed to be salmon was not. So I called and spoke to the short brown skin woman and explain. We agreed that my co worker and I would go in on Monday to get our free meals. Well low and behold this woman shows up at my job with both of our orders done correctly!!! Talk about customer service and going above and beyond!! I didn't order anything else as our break was over so seeing her show up for us was amazing!!! I will see her on Monday to give her a tip on top of the hug I gave her. She was in a rush to get back to the store so no time then.
