“The meals are excellent! The problem can be delivery….twenty four hours late with spoiled food. when you contact them about the problem via their customer service app, there is an incredibly slow response time. Last time I gave up and called and the person on the phone Refunded the box. This time I am waiting to see how long it takes them to respond before I have to give up and call for a box that cost me $125 and arrive spoiled.
ETA: They have since addressed their shipping issues and food arrives on time and COLD. Marley Spoon is about the only decent meal kit service with plenty of options and creative dishes.“

“Ambrosia Meals is a godsend. I primarily utilize the service by ordering prepared meat and fish for the week. Then, I cook my own veggies and sides. Sometimes, I order their prepared veggies, which are also delicious. This system makes my busy city life easier to manage and lets me enjoy tasty, nutritious meals. I also appreciate how responsive Ambrosia is when I have a question or rare problem with an order. They provide me with excellent customer service. The one thing I really wish they would change is their plastic packaging.“

“Hands down the BEST grilled cheese I’ve had in a long time. The bread was perfectly toasted, golden and crispy on the outside, and the cheese was melted to absolute perfection inside. That first bite? Unreal. Gooey, buttery, comforting goodness.

You can tell they don’t just throw it together, it’s made with care. It’s simple, classic, and somehow way better than it has any right to be. Plus, the staff is always friendly and quick, even when it’s busy. If you’re anywhere nearby and craving comfort food, do yourself a favor and grab their grilled cheese.“

“Solid meal prep company ?“

“From the outside, one might think this a food hall of sorts. Its definitely more of a hub for food delivery services. There were countless pickup orders and, including us, 2 other tables that came to sit and eat. The atmosphere has grande ceilings with floor to ceiling windows with bar seating running along and maybe 8 tables. There are hard-copy menus and touchscreen stations to order but the choices are countless; resulting in a time consuming firt-timer experience. There's 1 kitchen that pumps out separate restaurant menu items. The food was ok. I got a Mexican-style chicken bowl that was crossed with another restaurants curry chicken; bites here and there were different. My husband got an Asian-style chicken fried rice bowl that came out cold. 2nd attempt was saturated in sesame oil and inedible. We didn't realize it at the time but Amex Gold got rid of Goldbelly, replaced by Wonder; big mistake in our opinion as Goldbelly is worldwide and Wonder is limited to big-city access for a lesser quality product.“

“Like the menus so far, but in the first 4 orders, 3 items have been missed. Mostly sauces but rather frustrating. I'm hoping they will work on getting better. I was with Home Chef for almost 4 years and Dinnerly is a little less expensive and you have to have more basic ingredients but the value and freshness is better so far.“

“We have been watching Season 2 of the Beast games on Prime, and had to make the pilgramage. Donaldson and his crew are entrepreneurial geniuses. I think their burgers and fries are delicious, priced right for the area and economy. They were satisfying. Chocolate chips cookies not so much. Those are harder (not enough butter and brown sugar). But otherwise fun place to go when at the mall.“

PLUS: reasonable prices overall, clean & spacious, well-stocked groceries, wide selection of cooked food buffet-style, competent staff, free parking MINUS: more affordable prices elsewhere, not accessible by subway, not enough space for dining in--Street level outdoor area gets crowded at lunch time. Second level is reserved for employees. We all have our own preferences. It's worth a visit.“

“I love Popchew. It has become my favorite spot for burgers. In a neighborhood with so many smashburger options, Popchew is the best. And their fries... awesome. The new orange cream slushy is pretty good too. Try them out - you're gonna love it.“

“Been eating here for years. Used to be a in a spot by Dry Harbor Road. Always had the best chinese around even by my family's standard and always delivered freshness compared tobthe competition. They have excellent customer service on the phone and in person. Even when they get slammed, they manage to get food to me in good condition.There are some hard working people here and it shows in the food and service. They got hit with a fire in their original spot a while back but came back and I had to come back too. The other spots around just werent up to par while they were gone. Jade Bamboo is underrated in my opinion and deserve recognition.“

Now my youngest son has joined me on my healthy eating journey and enjoys the meals as much as I do! This is a life saver for me during tax season specially when I have 0 time to cook! My office is in town (Hawthorne location) which makes it super easy for me to pick up or even stop by and grab a couple meals when needed! “My cousin was visiting from Cleveland. Her son recently moved here. My husband and I were looking for a place for this group. We had been at Krupa's last Sat night with our son and enjoyed it very much. Also, parking is easy to find. Food is very good and fairly priced. Love the toast appetizers. The only small negative is that the menu is limited and didn't change at all from the other time we went. I had the bluefish the first time there which was delicious and something you don't see often on a menu. The tomato burata salad was very good. Ambiance is very nice. Garden is cute but both nights were too hot to eat outside. Staff is lovely and knowledgeable. We want to go back in a couple months when the menu changes.“

“We spent 5 days in the neighborhood with family and this ended up as our go-to spot for breakfast on our morning treks into NYC. It was close by our rental home and right off the bus line which we took into the city. The view is amazing and the food was superb. The staff was amazing every morning of our visit considering we were a group of 7 trying to eat and get on our way for our daily adventures. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I would totally recommend a visit.“
